You want burgers and beer? Salad bar? Steak and taters? Bringing wife and kids or just self and/or friends? Makes a difference.

so here's the deal. anywhere right next to the stadium will be packed to hell. on top of that most of the places within walking distance are going to be meh, downtown isn't known for great food. midtown has great food and cool bar scene and is a short MARTA ride. you can go to the other neighbor hoods like Virginia Highlands or Inman park to get away from the crowds and have lots of walkable restaurants and bars. My personal recommendation would be to park in Summerhill near a place called Woods Chapel BBQ LINK. around there you have a good bbq spot, a good pizza spot and a good beer spot. The uber from there will be cheaper (not including surge pricing) since it's pretty direct to the stadium

If you're staying near MCB there's always
McCormick's & Schmicks or Ruth's Chris @ Centennial Park.Stats is close as well but
is more of a Burger joint and will be over flowing with filthy Cajuns.

Bulldogs is your best bet. Amazing service, and their specials can't be beat.

Google West Midtown resturants, coupla miles from Benz but should find something that meets your requirments...

If your looking a little further West, hop on the Marta West line to Holmes Station and catch the bus to Boston Fish Supreme or Grand Buffet over on Fulton Ind. Bvld, both are underrated...

Varsity. Chili cheese slaw dawg and hamburger with onion rings and wash it down with orange soda. Fried apple pie for dessert.

Don’t get too far away from a john afterwards.

Go to the Silver Skillet for breakfast and get the country ham and eggs with redeye gravy.

Lunch at the Varsity. Get an FO.

Kevin Rathbuns for dinner.

Then you’ll be in a bone-in filet coma and won’t make it to the game.

it ain't downtown or midtown, but Joey D's in Dunwoody near Perimeter Mall is really good and just "nice/upscale" enough - they are known for their Pittsburgh style steaks

you can catch the train right there and it's a 30 or so minute ride to the stadium with ample parking, may be a little longer ride on that Saturday though

fwiw, I waited tables there about 25 years ago, so they have shown staying power

outside of that, I'd find a good place in Buckhead and ride the train in from Lenox mall, would not try driving or parking near the stadium, the MARTA trains are actually pretty decent, fast and safe

have fun in Atlanta

Here's what I would do.

Skip breakfast, get to Mary Mac's in midtown for early lunch. Gorge myself on chicken fried chicken with white gravy, creamed corn, pot likker with corn bread, mac and cheese, and super sweet ice tea. It's enough calories for the rest of the day. If you need a snack at the stadium, get a snack. Benz has decent snacks. Then post-game, get to Manuel's Tavern or The Righteous Room for top-shelf bar food before ubering back to your hotel.

But that's not what you asked for, because you have an uppity bitch sister in law.

S someone mentioned earlier West Midtown is gonna be your best bet and that includes Miller Union,JCT Kitchen,The Optimist.Marcel etc.All are pricey and pretentious but it's probably right up your SIL's alley.(Optimist would my choice but all are good)

You're right down the road from MCB and can Uber from all these places at a minimal cost.

Might wanna go and make a reservation now.

West Midtown is your best bet. Easy to get to from the Stadium.

Miller Union
Optimist
JCT Kitchen

If you want to branch out a little further you can try Canoe. It's in the Buckhead/Vinings area. Try the Popcorn Ice cream.
