This would, and should, be completely different from when OSU got justifiably snubbed for losing by 4tds late in the season to bad opponents (twice).

In 2017, OSU had two losses even though they won the conference championship. Last year they only had one loss but it was a brutal loss. No issues with the committee that OSU was left out a year ago. That and their defense made Oklahoma’s defense look like the 2000 Baltimore Ravens

I have said it before, give Saban 6 weeks to prepare for a game, he could make Vandy competitive. Give him a week and it is a different story.

#4 has won more CFPCG than #1. In fact a #1 has never won. And, #3 has only played in 1 CFPCG.

Utah lost to the only ranked team they’ve played. OU has the best resume.

BAMA and OU would both beat Utah.

If yes, they should be in. Very stout Defense, and pretty good offense.

Personally.. I think Oklahoma, with wins over OK state, and Baylor is a better choice than Utah. But I guess this is where the lack of a championship game hurts the Big 12.

I wish everyone played P5 schools only.
Still wouldn't have equal schedules, but at least we'd have a few more "data points".
Games vs. Western Carolina, Idaho State, Wofford are completely meaningless in playoffs discussion.

Not sure where the lack of a championship game comes from, as OU Baylor are playing in Dallas for the Big 12 championship.

Yea if the Utes win out I’d put them in at #4. That is if the top 3 remain the same from now until the end of the season.

How is OU playing Baylor if they aren't in a championship game?

Would need to compare side by side to a 1-loss Big12 champ. One of those 12-1 teams certainly deserves it over an 11-1 non-champ whose best win might be an 8-4 team.

It was 11 years ago but Bama learned you underestimate Utah at your peril. Not saying they belong, because all conference champs are not created equal. The 2nd place SEC West team is usually better than the PAC 12 champ, but I could understand them getting in.

No. Bama passed the eye test when they overcame all of their turnovers and sloppy play and nearly came back to win after being down by 20
