The NFL has also talked internally about playing games in other cities in the U.S. which do not have pro teams, with some buzz about playing a game at Notre Dame or Alabama, as well as Hawaii and cities in Canada. It is viewed as a unique and profound way to grow the game globally and extend the reach of sales, merchandising and broadcast rights around the globe, with there only so much more room for growth within America.

They would if it didn't become a constant.

The falcons can sacrifice their home game since half the crowd in atlanta is new orleans fans

Field conditions should be better than in Mexico City.

Christ, anybody but those two teams. The NFL and the networks tried to force them as Alabama's regional games for decades, but I'd be surprised if this Falcons were in the top ten in popularity here, and the Saints are even lower.

Might be a stretch, but Titans versus Saints or Falcons would be a good draw, IMO.

David Ricky is thinking regional matchups. Might be better served pitting the year prior Super Bowl matchup?? Or something like Steelers-Cowboys?

Who wants to cough up a home game?
You could get San Diego (Los Angeles)? Miami?
Plus, what guarantees must be placed as far as ticket sales?
Would Tuscaloosa be forced to guarantee, say 75,000, at $150 per ticket?

I want to see them play in Alaska and Montana. Those blokes could use a pro sporting event there once in a while I'm sure.

I don't get the ND one if it's because they don't have a pro team near by. They have the colts about 2-2.5 hours down US31 and about 2 hours from Chicago. Didn't read the article because the premise sounds dumb. Why even have teams based where they are now.

A Saints game in Tiger Stadium would be pretty fricking rowdy.
