I just saw this on another site...

It was stated....

"Bill Connelly's SP+ has been pretty spot on with spreads this year and has the following after yesterday's results:

#3 LSU (30.0)
#4 Clemson (29.0)
#5 UGA (28.5)

LSU would be favored by a point or two on a neutral field. LSU, UGA and Clemson are very close based on the numbers."

Why do y’all care SO MUCH? I literally do not think about this game until I am greeted by 10 new threads by Georgia fans every time I click on this board.

Your fear is showing.

Y'all don't go all paranoid on us...no one's fearing anything (that goes for both teams!).

Except at judging the LSU-Alabama spread which it apparently is still struggling to come to grips with.

Probably close to UGA -79

Our defense looks like pee wee shite out there. Plus we haven't faced a good defense yet.

As already posted earlier, I'd say LSU -7.5.

UGA's defense hasn't seen an offense of our caliber and we've already shredded two top 20 defenses this year.

UGA allows 40 less yards on the ground per game than both Auburn and Florida.

UGA allows 20 yards less through the air than Auburn while about equal to Florida (though UGA averages 5 more pass attempts per game than Florida, because teams can't run on us)

You'll be going up against the #2 defense in the country. Not #9. Not #13. #2.

It's going to be a good game. I would be shocked if the spread is as wide as you predict. Until Kirby went soft zone in the 4q last night, the defense was putting on a defensive clinic for a national audience.

LSU -4. It will be tough to beat Georgia in ATL.

You don’t really face offenses like Alabama or LSU though..

Whereas LSU has faced some pretty defenses

In a dome, LSU should have success

I really can’t wait for this game. All year long we hear how LSU offense hasn’t been tested. They told us burrow couldn’t do it against Texas. They told us Florida d line would murder us. They said auburn would be a tough test and the field was rough for that game. They said we wouldn’t beat Alabama at Alabama.

This is the most efficient and balanced offense I have ever seen in my entire life. And the coaches say they are only just getting started. It’s such a joy to watch LSU.

Georgia will probably start as a one touchdown dog and then it will drift a point or two one way or the other based on how people bet.

I've watched a good bit of LSU this season and there's no doubt y'all are a fricking wrecking ball on offense. Extremely talented skills players with a QB brimming with confidence is a recipe for dominance.

I've also watched UGA all season and this defense is truly something special. It's littered with 5* talent all over the field and is just incredibly deep. We have 5* freshmen coming in and dominating in limited snaps.

I just think the spread is going to be much smaller than folks think. I'd go like LSU -3.

Do you have any concern with Burrow on a big stage as a favorite? He did very well at Bama as an underdog (though against a questionable defense) but do you think the pressure of a SECCG could get to him?

a defensive clinic

That cushion of the first three quarters isn´t going to work against LSU. They will methodically march down the field, with the odd breakaway.

Everybody has had 8 to 15 yard slant success against UGA. Everybody. What do you think this country´s best college QB is going to do?

I trust the kirbster will mix it up and befuddle for awhile, but I don´t see our O doing what´s needed (score a shite ton of points).

Point spread in ATL? LSU - 8
