Slick willy went to Bama vs. Arky In 92. Wanted to see game of the century. Of course Arkansas was his ho e state. (I was going to correct the type to “home”, only to realize it was perfectly appropriate as is. )

Who wouldn't be against this? It's going to be bad enough with Gameday. Now you have to add all of the security bullshite that goes with the president? frick that.
You aren't going to the game anyway, so why do you give a shite?

Well, this thread appears to be the shite show you'd expect it to be. There is really no reason for anyone to want this to happen. He is showing up because he's embarrassed over what happened to him at the World Series and wants to go to a sporting event where the crowd will likely be on his side. And in order to accommodate the unrelenting vanity of Dear Leader the fans going to the game get to go through a 2 hour security line after fighting through even more insane traffic and parking than usual. No one wins here. Especially if you cheer for his stupid arse.

This really sums it up. He just wants us to heal his bruised ego. He DGAF about either state.

A little history of college football teams that a sitting President has attended a game.....
Since the President is the Commander in Chief the 2 teams that were attended the most are Army/Navy. The rest are as follows....
Bama will be 3rd most @ 3 after this weekend if Trump does attend. All the rest are @ 2 with LSU moving up to 2 also.
Presidents that have watched Alabama play are....
Donald Trump - Jan. 8, 2018, Alabama vs. Georgia, Playoff National Championship
Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
John F. Kennedy - Jan. 1, 1963: Alabama vs. Oklahoma, Orange Bowl
Orange Bowl Stadium, Miami

On the bright side, think of how great the flyover is going to be!

He was just in Louisiana and went down there as a candidate in disaster relief. He also got his first big endorsement in the state of Alabama.

Just what we need with all the recruits there.
Yeah, I'm sure eighty five thousand white people chanting "USA" and a thousand black people looking around like "where the hell am I" is exactly the look Saban wants to show recruits and their families.

Yea recruits were so clueless about the political leanings of the State until now

Last time you complained about a game day event you weren't even going. I imagine the same holds true for Saturday.

I'm Black and I like President Trump. There are more Blacks who support President Trump especially among Black men than the media will admit. I'm glad the President will be in attendance.

Only idiots that watch way too much controlled media fall for the "hes a racist" propaganda b.s. You cant go your whole like walking on egg shells hoping not to offend the mentally weak sheeple. I am sure there are black people of all kinds. Those that dont like him, those that voted for him, and then many more in the South who wonder why people from gated communities on the Lilly white west coast are telling them what is best for all black people.

Sure am. Will be my 4th game this season, 191st overall.
Posted on 11/4/19 at 5:17 pm to wm72
I’m pretty sure all those recruits and their families know Alabama is a strong red state
