O'Grady has ghosted Arkansas...

Andrew Hutchinson tweets that O'Grady has removed all references to Arkansas, changed his picture, and went private. I can't blame him. I wouldn't want to be associated with this shitshow either, especially while trying to attract an employer willing to pay me millions to play football.

I'm sure some of our stupid fans have been blowing up his twitter calling him a quitter too. That has to get annoying.

Well technically he kinda has.

I don't think he and Morris ever got along, and considering the results Morris has produced, I'm inclined to side with the player.

Quitting on your team has to look great to future employers. I don't think these current players have it easy but he should have to pay back some of his scholly if hes not going to fulfill the requirements. No sympathy from me.

I don't know. Having the smarts to not risk career ending injury, when your coach has proven to be at best incompetent, who sticks with starting a QB who will not be here next year for a homecoming game that represents your best chance to win your first SEC game in 2 years?

He's likely gonna be on some teams in the NFL with bad or mediocre coaches as well.. Does just refusing to play show some character qualities other than selfishness that I'm missing?

I don't blame him after why he was suspended... Challenged Morris to start somebody other than Hicks. Basically voiced the opinion of most of the team and got suspended

Who said he quit? All rumors at this point, but the one with the most smoke is he called Morris out about the QB situation, on behalf of at least part of team, and Morris sent him packing. Maybe O'Grady could have come back after the suspension this week, but what's the point with the clown show they are currently running.

Quite a bit of difference in getting paid millions to play football for bad or mediocre coaches, and risking injury for a coach and program that apparently doesn't even want to win. So yeah, I'd say intelligence is a character quality you're missing.

I didn't know, but had a sneaking suspicion this was the case. Senior player wants to try to win homecoming. Where did you hear this?

So then I guess the whole team not playing wouldnt be a problem for you? Probably more players than just him have pro aspirations. If they're just looking out for number 1, let's get this mutiny going.

You bet. I'll go to the ridiculous extreme with you, if that's where we must go. I wouldn't blame any JR or SR player for telling Morris to frick himself with a cactus, at this point. He has done nothing but harm their prospects for a career. If they had any at all, they are now gone for all but the ones who stand out, despite having a fricking boob for a coach.

Seems like Ogrady has missed alot of games over his career here for one reason or another.
This isn't really a surprise.It's a shame,he's a very good TE.

The kid may be a cancer for all I know. I know he has been in the doghouse a few times. I am usually 100% in the coach's corner on stuff like this, but if the coach is unable to show any semblance of improvement in any facet of the game after two years, who exactly do we expect to tell us that our coach is in fact incompetent? The Arkansas media?

He should have challenged CCM, hell somebody needs to ask WTF he's (CCM) been thinking.

Didn't appear as if he got along with Bert, either. If he can't get along with either coach then he might be the problem. And he is a quitter, but fans don't need to go harassing him on social media.

Well, if you were going to pick two coaches in Arkansas football history to not get along with, you couldn't do much better than Morris and Bielema.
