He should have challenged CCM, hell somebody needs to ask WTF he's (CCM) been thinking.

Remember when people were praising Chadwick as his suspending of O'Grady for having a dirty towel hanging in his locker?

Now suspends him for being the team's vocal leader in the locker room because of the message he delivered for the team? But tells the media its because he missed 3 meetings (which he was suspended from attending).

Sounds like Chad had it out of O'Grady the minute he stepped on campus, true to his high school roots.

This kid can frick off. Quitting like a bitch. I guess he'll also sit out every preseason game. And the combine. Could tear an acl. In fact, he should only play in the 4th quarter of the super bowl. He's that good. Oh wait, he is a decent player on a terrible team who hasn't actually accomplished that much. He isn't in the Heisman discussion

Too bad you can't just walk out on tough situations in life just since you don't get your way. You don't get along with someone?? Tough shite.
Some people learn that in college, some after, some never learn it

One thing that isn't surprising is we have kids like this on our team

Lighten up, Francis. This dude has kind of been dogged by Morris just about since he got here. It may have been well deserved for all I know, but damn. His coach has proven to be a complete incompetent. There is absolutely no reason to risk a possible NFL career for a coach who can’t get it done, and refuses to hear what the players have to say.

Is it really quitting when you told you're no longer a part of the team?

Chad is picking back up on the narrative he put out there preseason that he hasn't been the problem, Bert's player's have been the problem.

Low and behold when the burner gets turn up a few notches the best Bert player remaining he hasn't ran off is ran off to take attention away from his wins or more accurately lack there of.

Such a quitter mentality. You realize sports are a zero sum game right? Even if every coach was Bilichick level coach some teams are going to finish in the bottom of a league and "not get it done". Now obviously our coach sucks, but if players follow your flawed logic teams would never crawl out of a hole. If the best bail when the team loses, why have any hope when youre the freshman on a team that sucks arse?

What the frick? Is this a democracy? These kids will be in for a rude awakening if they want to bitch at their boss and lead revolt at work once they get a job

We don't have a fricking player-manager system

In the new "transfer portal" football this is exactly the problem. Anyone worth a shite leaves for the top 6 teams, every other program is destined to suck!! Who's in!!!!

For the record, I thought that was a bullshite, showy "look at how much of a disciplinarian I am" suspension at the time, and Chad's ineptitude as a coach has only reinforced that belief.

Guys like Morris and Bert are the worst type of wannabe disciplinarian coaches who make a big public show of suspending players for inane reasons, yet their players still lack general discipline and regularly quit on the field. I've never seen more on-field quit in players than I have the last 4 years under two different coaches who scraped the bottom of the excuse barrel for one suspension after another.

If every coach was Belichick level, there would still be winners and losers, but every team would be playing at a high level, and every team would be putting players in the NFL. The problem is, even the coaches who are arse have a few players who could get to the NFL, but since their coach sucks, the players chances of getting there are diminished.

We don’t know what happened with O’Grady. What we do know, is that if one of the best players on your team, a senior on a team that has won exactly zero SEC games in 2 years, and only 4 games against piss poor opponents in 2 years, says why don’t we start the best quarterback on the team and try to actually win our homecoming game, and your answer as the coach of that shitshow is “frick you, I’m the coach, and you’re off the team,” then he is a cocksucker, and doesn’t deserve any respect.

It’s one thing to be making suggestions to Belichick or Saban, it’s entirely another when you are talking about this frickstick.

You claim we dont know what happened but have "quotes" of what you think coach told OGrady spelled out in your post lol. You dont know anymore than me, but I do know a lot of other players have a chest and are still on the team. Maybe CJ isnt cut out for this.

I have repeatedly said O’Grady may have deserved everything he got. The scenario I gave above is just what it looks like from the outside, if in fact O’Grady called out Morris to play Jefferson. We all saw how the team reacted when Jefferson got in the game. If that is the scenario (and it probably isn’t exactly) but if it is close, Morris just shite on a team leader, kicked him off the team, for being a leader and honestly stating the sentiment of the team.

Morris has had favorites and has had the kids he shits on at every opportunity and they can do no right in his eyes.

You normally only see this behavior in highschool coaches...

He boots O'Grady and offers his sons buddy from Highland Park. 6-3\190 TE with zero offers.

I don't care how shitty Morris is or how much you don't like him, this is NOT a good look for O'Grady. You have one coach you may dislike, but 84+ other teammates that are supposed to be your friends and fellow warriors in the trenches.

Anybody that's played football knows that even if you're the best team in your league/division/conference, it's an "us vs the world" attitude that makes a team gel.

O'Grady looks like he's only in it for himself, he would give this team a better chance to win on Saturday and he fricked his teammates over on that one. They still want to win, believe it or not.

This is one of the few things I don't blame on Morris directly, although his sucking indirectly led to the outcome. Just a shitty situation.

I mean he broke the TD record for a tight end while here and that is just after an elite NFL tight end was here.

I'd say he's done fine under some really shitty coaching.

It's definitely a beta move but who knows what happened behind the scenes. If he spoke out and the staff turned on him, not sure I have an issue with it.

Dude played hard as hell every time he was on the field. I know that for a fact.
