The Mac attack is gonna shock some people against Arky, 3 passing TD's, 1 rushing, 225+ yds.

For further controversy: LSU is not as good as people think and are in for a dogfight this weekend with an overlooked Auburn team.

Well it is a top 10 matchup. I dare say if it isn’t a dogfight I would be disappointed. Our O-line will be the key to success in this game IMO. I also think Nix will throw several picks.

The Mac attack looked broken against Tennessee. His passing fundamentals were just plain bad.

Putting up average numbers against the worst SEC team isn't really shocking.

He came out cold and looked rough at the start, which is to be expected. He had some nice passes once he settled down and two drops that hurt his overall numbers.

Your contribution to this board, however, is consistently bad.

I saw one nice pass to Smith, also saw some horrible throws. Also, took a awful sack where he could have easily fumbled since he didn't see it coming.

I also saw the offense score only 7 points in 2 1/2 quarters with Mac at QB. With the receivers Bama has, that is just plain awful.

Bama's offense is going to look like the Bama offense in late 2017 with Mac, great receivers with no one to get them the ball.

Teams will load the box and dare Mac to beat them passing.

Nah

I plan on going to the game and tbh blowouts are relaxing but the best nights of football games are always games where it is at least in doubt until the late 3rd quarter. Those are the memorable ones at least.

ETA: The Florida game this year was legitimately one of the best I’ve ever been to

The first few throws and those where he threw it into the ground were mechanical issues due to nerves. He was overthrowing the passes, sort of like a pitcher will start doing when they're trying too hard to place a pitch. He fixed that once he settled down.

The other issues were mostly due to lack of reps with the first team, just timing issues. He'll work some of that out in practice this week.

The sack was bad, but hopefully it taught him a lesson on holding onto the ball too long.

LSU’s offense is absolutely the real deal.

I just really hope their defense is as bad as it has looked.

For obvious reasons I hope the opposite

I will say I saw some interesting stuff that made me feel a little bit better about our defense. Apparently our Zone is finally working. Both picks against State were in Zone. A ton of LSU fans were blasting Aranda for continually going back to Zone when we were clearly playing better in Man, but Aranda obviously felt we were going to need to be able to play well in both to be a good defense this year. I hope he’s right.

I went to the AU UF game and couldn’t have been less impressed with Auburn.

No doubt they’ll be better at home but goodness, they were terrible.

LSU should be just fine.

I think we will be fine too, but I really wasn’t joking about wanting it to be a good game for at least a half.

I’m still really mad I won’t be able to go to the A&M game because I will be out of state

He didn't hang on to the ball....UT sent more people from the left side than we had blockers. #10 threw the ball early for #22 who wasn't ready for the ball to arrive that quick.

I'm not saying they aren't good at all, but they have played some terrible defenses. The same MSU team that held them to 36 gave up 56 to Auburn...

Given the circumstances, I thought Mac played well Saturday night. I have no concerns with him going into this week's game. He'll have a fine game.

I’m big on thinking UF’s defense is terribly overrated.

But LSU still obliterated it. LSU only reached 3rd down 4 times in the game. That’s incredible.

How many people would that shock considering how bad Arkansas is?
