He beat Texas. He beat LSU. He mostly went to bowls. He hired some coordinators that are now widely considered to be talented.
I mean he did peak years ago and maybe his time there was up, but Arky fans have to appreciate Bert now. When I lurk on their forums I see Nutt love instead though.

In the back half of the 2015 season, Arkansas was one of the hottest teams in the country. Around this time I honestly thought he'd be knocking on the door of some 10 win seasons but just couldn't quite turn the corner. Pretty good coach and seemed like a decent guy.

If he doesn’t inexplicably lose to Toledo and Texas Tech (though they did have Mahomes) that year then that’s a 10 win team. The 2014 team lost a shite ton of close games to top 10 teams too. After 2015 though it was a steady decline to dumpster fire status in 2017.
