The minimum has jumped from $260 last week to $295 this week. It’s been a while since I’ve actually bought tickets. From memory, it seems like as we get closer to the game the prices will slowly come down a little from people not willing to pay the current prices. Am I correct? Or will they rise? Appreciate any help. Looking to buy, but I would prefer to time the market. Thanks

The more we both win, the higher the hype, the more expensive the ticket.

You might have to do some pandering to get a good deal.

Typically, I think the market slightly outpaces the hype and it comes back down a little near the week of the game. Just hoping someone can confirm.

that ship has sailed. You should have bought back in May when CBS decided it wasn't a quality primetime game.

THe price will rise for this game all the way until gameday.

The only dip you will see is on unsold online tkts and scalpers trying dump tkts the day of.

Their tkt value drops the closer it gets to kickoff then keeps plunging until they are at or even below face value if tkts are still available.

I think it will be sold out. So, buying tkts at the game may be your only shot if you wait too long. But, that doesnt mean you can't get a good value.

The only thing that will bring the ticket value down is if one team loses a game before they meet! You might get lucky and get a deal AFTER kickoff.....might!

IF we are both undefeated going into that game, that is going to be the biggest non-playoff game of the year. This one isnt going to be a 9-6 boring def game. There are going to be 2 weeks of nonstop promotion and building and gameday being there. I would image CBS negotiates it to be a night game. Game of the Century part 2. Will that 2 of the best offenses in the game with 2 QB's in the top 3 in the Heisman race. This game will have it all. Get them while you can.

Thanks everyone. I’ll probably go ahead and buy in the next week. I just hate using stubhub/Ticketmaster cause of the ridiculous fees thrown on top of the listed price at checkout. Anybody had any experience with t-town tickets?

Unless Auburn plays out of their minds and upsets LSU at LSU, it should be a #1 vs #2 game. Sub $300 is cheap honestly.

If both keep winning, they probably won't come down much. Maybe the week of they'll drop slightly, but not significantly.

Usually prices do drop if you are willing to wait until the last 24 hours. I'm sure that will happen here as well but if they both keep winning those last minute lower priced tickets are going to be pretty scarce. There are always some - you just have to be willing to wait and maybe got to Tuscaloosa that day without a ticket in hand yet. Also depends on how many you need.

One ticket? There will always be singles that people couldn't unload at the higher prices.

Two? Can probably still get something last minute for a better deal than now.

3 or more? I doubt you will be able to wait for this game.

Never used t-town tickets. Try TickPick - there are technically "no fees" for the buyer. I've found that the fees may be hidden in the price to some extent but the same ticket on TickPick is always cheaper than StubHub/Ticketmaster (with fees) and sometimes significantly so.

It's all about supply/demand. If both are undefeated and ranked #1 and #2, prices will rise and availability will decrease( this will probably be the scenario). I played the "ticket mkt" for years, and believe that a $295 ticket will be north of $400 by game time, if the ticket's even remotely decent.

I take my son to a game each year, and we have never been to an LSU game, so we are going to go. How do I contact you to buy your tickets? Do you still have them for sale? We were going to buy them online before Friday and we are trying to do our due diligence. It doesn't matter the seat location.

Thank you,
Jim

The ticket demand for this game isn't nearly as bad as it was in 2011. Not sure why. It's high, but, several games this year including Georgia/ND were exponentially more pricey.
