I’m excited for this game as much as I’m excited for the LSU Florida game .

One of the better rushing offenses first one of the better rushing defense is I’m curious to see which will succeed. Ole Miss cannot throw the ball this year... I’m assuming Missouri is just going to load the box and if they do I think that Ole miss will struggle.

If Cale Garret was there I'd be confident, but he's not.

His replacement might even be physically better, overall,
however Garret could arrange the whole defense or change things around if need be and make sure guys knew what to do.

Nick Bolton can do some of that and Wilkins should be able to handle himself, but it makes us a bit more prone to big plays I think.

I think you all can win but only if you get lot of points off turnovers or points off big running plays. I'm really more afraid of the running plays.

I think.....

We win.

Should be a good matchup, though

I think this game will be closer than many expect. With the exception of the Alabama game, our defense has done really well. Secondary is still a concern but if we can develop a pass rush then it'll help those young guys out.

On paper, Mizzou should win. But with Cale Garrett out (look him up LSU fans, he plays defense for Mizzou which is a team in the SEC East and a state that when its people poops into the Missouri or Mississippi, it all streams down to you), and a QB that might play but not run, our options are limited.

Love Ole Miss fans, love the campus, love the people. Next to Mizzou and TCU, one of the only other teams and schools I hope does well on a weekly basis. Safe travels to whoever is driving up.

If Mizzou wins, Ole Mess is down. If Ole Mess wins, Mizzou is a shite program and should never have been allowed into the precious and unattainable SEC.

Plumlee is a fun player to watch. He reminds me of the times when Dexter McCluster was taking direct snaps.

My first thought is that this is a weird line.

If Missouri loses to Ole Miss they need to pack their shite and get out of the SEC. Losing to Wyoming was bad enough.

On paper, we win. I think Mizzou will miss LB Garrett especially this first game against a good running O. We need a spy on Plumlee and welcome him appropriately at the LOS. Our passing game with either QB Bryant or Powell will pick the Rebs apart. Also, we can run the ball about the same. IF, IF our OL takes control, we win big. Turnovers are always the great equalizer. I think it will be close but I said that with USCe too.

Ole Miss 31
Mizzou 35

50s and sunshine, great football weather.

Great to have Ole Miss in COMO. Have fun and travel safe.

PS: I was at the only game Mizzou lost to Ole Miss back in '74 in Jackson.

Should be an interesting game but Missouri is likely to win by double digits.
