And sure that’s the strength on strength part of the game. But what I’m interested in is Florida’s offense vs LSU’s defense. It looks like LSU will finally have most of our starters back since the Texas game, especially on the D-line. Bad news for Florida’s subpar o-line. Trask will have even less time to throw or make decisions against LSU’s TWO all American defensive backs, plus the true freshman Derek stingely, who just might be better than both.

If this subpar o-line gives Trask time throw Florida will move the ball and score a lot of points. If Vandy can score 38 on LSU, Florida can score 50. Just sayin' they could.

Same story on the other side of the ball, if Burrow has time LSU will move the ball and score a lot of points.

This game could literally be 45-38 if the o-lines protect the QBs or it could be 10-7 if they don't.

For the 578th time, Vandy scored 24 on our defense. Also did you not read the part about how we’ve been missing like 5 starters since the Texas game (Vandy was between then and now)

Florida is probably gonna need at least 28 points out of Trask to win. Not sure he can pull that off in Death Valley even with LSUs defense being weaker than most years

Ok, i'll edit; If Vandy's offense can score 24 on LSU's defense Florida can score 50. Just sayin' they could.

Also, injuries are a part of football, you do know that Florida has been playing without some starters too?

LSU by 14+ = saying it over and over won't make it happen. We will see Saturday night.

Injuries are absolutely a part of the game, but I believe his point was that we get a significant amount of players back for the Florida game. In fact, they've been rested specifically for this game. The defense Florida sees will be different than anyone else has seen all season.

Your defensive line starters aren't good either.

Vandy didn't seem to have an issue with them.

The two most entertaining things in the SEC are a Vol coaching search and a LSU melt after a loss.

How would you say your line has performed this season so far? I see that Trask has been sacked 9 times in 3 starts. I know 4 came against Auburn this last week who has a great d-line (better than ours).

Our pass rush has let me down a bit so far. Chaisson hasn't performed as I thought he would but has been hampered a bit by injuries again. Divinity when healthy has played inside but hopefully with Phillips and Queen stepping up, they switch him back outside. If we can get those 2 on the outside and a steady diet of Lawrence/Shelvin on the inside we might get something going but to this point it's not a sure thing.

I think LSU has the ability to make it a multiple possession win but I think the most likely scenario is that it goes into the 4th qtr no matter what.

If Florida scores 50, LSU will score 64+. After all, this wizard dude said multiple times that we win by 14+.

Vandy is the top end limit for LSU's defense. I wouldn't be surprised if Florida's insane offense double that production. LSU will be lucky to hold them under 50. Did yall see what they did to Tennessee's defense in the swamp? shite, I'm worried.

The point I was making is that LSUs defense will be back up to full strength. It’s not the same defense that played the past 3 games.

Or it could be 40-17 if both teams play as expected.

Btw, Vandy offense scored 24 on us. 7 of that was garbage time when we were up by 30+ points.

You mean the team who threw 40 times and only got 230 yards with 2 interceptions? You’re right, they passed all over us.

A lot of you don't football much. Our philosophy is very simple...just protect the ball. Trask wont have to score a lot of points, cause our defense will be as stingy as a Scottish miser.

Really, all we need is for our offense to pick up a first down on most series, then our punter has the leg to flip the field and pin you deep.

We'll wait on the defense to give us the short field to drive. Eezy pleezee lemon squezzee. Of course we have elite weapons at WR and short passes turn into house calls...same with run game..we can lull you to sleep and Chomp!! You are chasing a Gator with after burners. Mullen will be in the lab this week and tinkering with a few plays to break the bank. Y'all should be worried.

Trask threw 2 interceptions against TN. He also has a fumbling problem. Protect the ball, you will not.
