Bama in ‘11 - they were fricking furious after we won and shut the whole town down.

Never been to UF though, heard it sucks.

I heard the same thing about LSU. Then I went to see for myself and it didn’t!

Tennessee 2007 -Never been treated like that anywhere else.

Only other bad experience I had was AU 2013, but that was just a couple guys.

It was pretty pathetic. I heard 'roll tears roll' at least a hundred times while walking back to the car.

I remember driving to Auburn for a DSOR one year (may have been 2004), and a UGA car passes us. Guy literally hangs out the window on 85 around Lagrange to flip us off.

Had a USC fan do this on the way to Athens one time, but for some reason it did not bother me and I like USC fans. Hmmm

Ohio State and it’s not close. We played them in Columbus when I was in college. Went with my family. We beat them in a close game and this nice woman in front of us turned around and said “You guys need to get out of here as quickly as possible.” We shrugged it off but shouldn’t have. Full beers (bottles!) thrown at us on the way out, my mother being called every single thing you could think of, daring me to throw a punch so 20 dudes could jump me, it was absolutely the craziest scene I have ever witnessed. Their school president had to write a letter of apology.

Trash people.

First off you are FOS putting Auburn on that list. I've been to every conference stadium besides aTm as well as to games all across the South, NW, and MidWest. And Auburn is one of the friendliest places in the country.

As far as worst fans in the conference, Alabama Hands Down. Followed closely by UGA fans. Then oddly enough I found the people in South Carolina to be assholes enough to come in 3rd.

As far as worst overall fans that I've ever been to a game... That's easy...

The fans inside Autzen Stadium in Eugene Oregon. Even while wearing Oregon gear, you will get spit on, little alcohol bottles will be thrown at you, and your kids spit on... All because you agree with the zebras that something wasn't a penalty.

Oregon fans may be nice on neutral fields, but in their stadium...they are the worst people on the face of the planet.

What would Tennessee fans say about that? Tennessee is the only SEC team I remember playing in Eugene while I lived there.

Absolutely nobody who has been to games across the SEC says this.

Except me I guess. Maybe it was because I was wearing Auburn gear and we had beat you guys in Tuscaloosa.

But the worst I've ever been treated by SEC fans were Bama fans in Tuscaloosa, and it wasn't even close

UK fans were pretty bad before the Hail Mary in 2002. But I have not seen any road team fans that were bad. I've been to VT UK Bama MSU.

I would guess old Tulane Stadium was the worst and I was a under 10 then very small but I do remember Saints games and LSU vs Tulane and it was bad blood back in those days.

That happened every year for like a decade.

You are right. And I should have said which game it was. I've only been to 1 game in Tuscaloosa. But man alive you guys were salty AF after the Camback.

Also... I haven't been to an Auburn home game since 2004. Things could have changed. I moved to Oregon in 2002. My brother won tickets to the 2010 Iron Bowl off the radio, and he wanted me to go with him, since I took him to his first collegiate experience, (Auburn vs Tennessee). So I flew in for that game and flew back to Oregon a few days after.

And as far as people saying that about Auburn... I mean I guess I've not seen it from another fanbase perspective, but I have been told by people all across the country about how awesome they were treated by Auburn fans...be it from Kansas State fans, Virginia fans, Virginia Tech fans, Oregon fans, USC fans, Utah State fans, or Memphis fans. But those guys are all out of the conference... So I reckon in conference people could of had different experiences.
