Roy Adams and Logan Young are classic examples of people who take the game too seriously. He and Logan Young were the best of friends for the longest time. Then they got into bidding wars over high school players and turned into bitter rivals who couldn't stand to be around each other.

I have always thought it was a homicide.

IIRC, that was the first reports from the lead investigators. Something about "gruesome" scene, etc. Then about a day later, it was ruled an accident

I sort of knew Logan Young. All I'll say is from what I saw with him, we deserved the punishment we received. Guy was shady and crooked as hell.

An assistant coach in the 90's told me his supposed friendship with Coach Bryant was a fabrication and that Bryant hated him. Stallings supposedly hated him too.

The only team’s misery I would enjoy more is Notre Dame.

If not mistaken the players looking to leave are Butch Jones recruit. This may be of Pruitt cleaning house. Either buy in or hit the portal. Now if we start seeing Pruitt recruits leave it may get interesting.

Back around 2002-2003 I never dreamed this day would come. Karma is a bitch and I hope that program dies.

It's incredible to me how far they have fallen.

I really can't muster one ounce of sympathy for them and I would be fine just doing away with the TSIO if we could get a better rotation of East opponents.

Young was sleazy but let's be honest: every program in the SEC had and still has sleazy boosters that do underhand stuff. There were other programs who bidded on Albert Means. Tennessee and Arkansas were two of the others. Alabama was the scapegoat.

Just wait until they lose to UAB. And that will happen.

Honestly if this is Pruitt biting the bullet and showing the door to the Butch recruited juniors and seniors who won't buy in... props to him. He is quickly heading for a sweet buyout, but it takes some serious guts to risk your job and team depth by doing this.

I think he is doing just that. Clean house and start fresh. Let the young guys eat and add to them in the next few classes. At this point the season is already a wash and some of these players mentioned did not even travel to UF I believe.

I'm for this. Tired of never playing the other teams in the east.
We play shite schools like Chattanooga and Louisiana Tech more than we play our own conference members like Florida or Georgia.

Screw getting rid of the TSIO. They did their best to kill our program...let them suffer the arse beatings they’ve earned as long as possible. I’m hoping for 20 in a row.

I’ve never seen anybody do this I’m the middle of the year though. If he’s cutting bad apples why didn’t he do it before the season started?

This is the worst rivalry.

The only thing we're doing by keeping it alive is giving them relevance. It's absurd.

Second Saturday in November > Third Saturday in October

There are quite literally children on campus that have zero idea of what you're talking about. Let it go, man.

It's very telling when someone became a fan of Bama because of how they view LSU and whether they are a rival. For me Tennesee is as bad as Auburn. LSU is a passing fancy that we have held to 0 points 2 of the last 3 times we met, Aubarn and Tennesee are the true evils of this world.

Or maybe people realize that football is entertainment and it’s fricking boring as hell watching the third Saturday in October

I find watching us trample our enemies very entertaining. Like Coach Reilly said, "it's not worth winning if you can't win big." And that's doubly true when we come up against a real heel program like UT.
