Nope, ship has sailed. Let the man have his tenure at Bama.

Who has said this? Serious question.

Of course they would. Hell, they’re about to induct him into the Louisiana sports hall of fame just because, imagine what they’d do if he was even remotely interested in returning.

I don't think Saban has lost anything, he's still learning and becoming even more dangerous each year. I also believe Saban is not returning to LSU. But for the sake of the intriguing OP, if Saban wanted to return to LSU right now, I agree with what others have said.

Coach has surpassed expectations, he's out-coached other great coaches and he kept an promise to the fanbase that was really important to us. I don't give a shite if Bill Belichick wants the job, you don't fire a guy who is showing signs he's on the verge of reaching his potential as a coach and opening up a can of whip-arse on the rest country.

A better, unlikely scenario: LSU runs the table, wins the CFP and Coach O goes the NFL. Saban replaces him at LSU and gets to win CEO's players.

Damn Bama is super insecure today after Saban admits he misses LSU and should have never left.

I can honestly say I’d be against it. It’s the principal of the matter now. I’d rather lose football games every now and then than see Saban in purple and gold again.

I’m not sure how it builds Saban ( probably the best cfb Coach ever) up to tear Coach Orgeron down ? Has Orgeron not done a good job ? Has he not earned your respect? How tiny is your penis that you feel the need to degrade a man who is doing a remarkable job against ALL the conventional wisdom ? I just don’t get the pettiness.

I would not fire O. He loves LSU and works hard to succeed. So far, he has done nothing that deserves termination. Saban in a great coach. One of the greatest of all time. But firing Coach O right now, is very wrong. I would be very disappointed in our admin if they made that move.

Football is about more than winning. It’s a game that reveals character. It is why I love this game so much. This kind of move would reveal terrible character on the part of our leadership.

The Clemson loss last year showed me he’s on his “Bobby Bowden Decline”.

O is on fire. A couple of years ago, sure, but I'm 100% on the O wagon. He's been doing exactly what he promised the fan base, and he's brought swagger and excitement back to the LSU program. And we're 100% certain he'll never bail on us.

Saban’s comments about leaving LSU being the best worst decision he’s ever made were pretty weird.

Personally, after seeing what O has done as HC, I wouldn’t trade him for anyone right now.

Maybe that changes if LSU drops a few, but I don’t see that happening as long as Burrow is healthy. Maybe we lose a close one to Bama, but that’s definitely no longer an automatic L.

Don't think he has lost a step, yet. But, he is just no longer our guy. So, no.
