The alpaca goes down and the savior comes in to save Florida.
Since you guys witnessed this transition first-hand, what was your take away from Trask’s performance in the 4th quarter?

looked like Kentucky blew the game more than trask winning it

He’s great at throwing to open receivers in soft coverage with minimal pressure. Glad we could give him some practice reps.

It was very Muchamp-esque to go into a prevent for the entire 4th quarter. Depleted secondary perhaps? Had to be more than just having the lead.

We had 3rd string out in safety due to an ejection and an injury. We were playing zone the whole time and to Merlin’s credit, he called great plays. I think Trask will beat LSU with those issues in the backfield.

Still too early to tell
#1 Don't lose focus, kid gets hurt, focus should be on their recovery.
#2 Fluke or real, time will tell. A team practices for known QB and not for the backup. When backup comes in they can have early success till learning curve catches up with them. Lets see how he does against LSU.
#3 That is one big white boy, like abominable snowman big.
#4 Penalties and Stoops not managing game made him look better.
Savor the win, beat the Vols, but not sure this guy gets the Gators past Georgia.

He gives us a better chance than Franks did. But yes, too early to tell. Thankfully he has Tennessee and Towson to gel more with the first string. Hopefully our running game improves too, that’ll open things up.

He made a nice pitch on the option while being tackled. Other than that meh.

Probably better than Franks. He was good enough to beat our depleted secondary. When he came into the game our defense should’ve blitzed on every play but instead we let him get comfortable. UK football has a history of making backup QB’s look like Tom Brady. Not sure who you play next but that’ll be the real test. He seems to make good decisions.

Florida had a ton of injuries too. Not really a good excuse there. Florida was just better.

Your obsession with Boom is psychopathic-esque. He should swear out a restraining order on you, just incase.

I watched the 4th quarter and all I have to say is that was such a Kentucky way to lose that game.

Obsession? Naw. It’s just a great example to use for losing.
Loser.
Loser.

My take away is our coaching staff went away from what was working when he came in, didn't pressure him at all and let him gain confidence.

Not an excuse, just a fact about our secondary. I gave Florida plenty of props last night. They were dominated for three quarters but out played and out coached us in the 4th and that’s all they needed.

They couldn’t have been that dominated to only be down 11... domination would’ve been putting them away.

Not when you have a coach who tightens up when he gets multiple score leads. We don’t put teams away, it’s not what Stoops does.

You “dominated” those 3 quarters because of our depleted secondary and Franks doing Franks things. Also didn’t hurt that the refs never called holding on your blatant holds, gifted you a touchdown when the receiver used the ground to catch the ball, and called 2 phantom PIs.
Yes. Dominated. Your D-line and O-line were legit for the most part though.

Whatever, we were held too. You all won and that’s all that matters. Didn’t mean for my comments to ruffle any feathers. Good luck going forward.
