I don't know how many of you went to last year's lsu game, but I have never left at half in my life. I've never been so pissed at a coaching staff for coaching scared. I have never in my life screamed, yelled, made an arse of myself (I was as drunk then, as I am now. I work nights, and I'm off. Sue me) I had some looks. I knew it. Not a damn person said a word to me. Because they knew I was right. There is not a damn reason when the defense plays nothing but single "high" (holy frick he played 10 yards deep all game) safety to atleast TRY to show some competence. Like holy frick I know we can't make that throw, but God damn show them we are willing to give it a whirl. Half the countries offense is based on jump balls, and we won't even show the other team we are willing to try it because we are such bitch boys? frick this staff. I would have rather seen an int than the full on cuckold arse shite I was forced to endure for 30 min of regulation last year. I tried to block this shite from my memory. I've been drinking, alone, and realized wtf we are over the last few hours. We are a badly coached team. By a full on pussy. frick this mfer. Unless craddock and him suddenly become marines I want them fired. That 4th and 3 call by Bobby that hit a td against LSU 9 years ago wont happen with this bitch made staff. 11 years ago dick to Crawford wouldn't have happened either. I don't want Bobby back btw. I just want someone who isn't a complete bitch like Morris.

He’s got to get more aggressive I agree but it’ll help having a qb who can make that throw. If he still does t stretch the field I’ll want to cut his nuts off since he obviously doesn’t need them.

Eta: I don’t mean that literally I’m joking of course castrating other humans is uncouth no matter the circumstance

Eh, not having a QB who can make one of those throws isn't a good excuse for constantly punting on 4th and short inside the opponent's 40. It's that kind of stuff that worries me more than individual play calling. I get that he's limited by some of the talent in what he can run but stuff like that is a philosophy issue and goes against everything he's preached since he got here.

Michigan went for a handful of 4th down, including one 4th and long on a fake punt, against Army. Why? They knew that Army would choke the life out of the game if they got the ball and Michigan wouldn't have time to do anything.

Sometimes it is way more dangerous to not roll the dice on 4th down then to go for it.

I remember a few years ago Bert made a big deal about the outside analytic staff he had hired telling him that we needed to go for it on 4th down more often. Then, of course, he promptly didn't do so.

You can go for it too often and in the wrong situations, I think Army is guilty of this from time to time, but on the whole it is better to be too aggressive then too passive.

Well this staff is as passive as a cuckold watching his wife get slapped by a bull with his dick.

I never understood why he was super aggressive early on (remember the fake punt for a TD against A&M?) and then later in his tenure here he never did anything like that again.

Eh, I would say the two two point conversions at Ole Miss and TCU were fairly aggressive. I agree that he could have been more aggressive in spots but in general I respected that he was at least willing to go for it in those spots.

I support this post. Not to mention pussing out against CSU last year.

Everybody blasted him for that fake punt. He probably just got gun shy. When you make an aggressive play and it fails people criticize you harshly for that as well. He was feeling the pressure at the end and didn't feel confident enough to go for shite like that anymore.

It cracks me up that he took a look at the board and all the melt threads and thought "man, everybody's too happy about the state of the program right now."

Right after the game we had some with some optimism because of starkel. I know there is no optimism really.

Honestly I had talked myself into starkel maybe giving us a spark on O, and we look competent inspite of our coaches. Then I had a flashback of sitting in the south endzone, and I fricking melted all over again this morning.

Have you seen Chadillac's offense this year?

We didn't score 30 on frickin Portland St.

Doubt we score 30 against CSU, much less beat them by 30.
