ESPN - Alabama has company, it's Alabama, LSU, Ga, and Aub

ESPN - It isn't Alabama-and-everyone-else, at least not based on the two-week snapshot we have. It's Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Auburn. With LSU's win at Texas, a game in which quarterback Joe Burrow catapulted himself into the Heisman conversation, the Tigers legitimized their playoff hopes and made their case for a top-four ranking in the next AP Top 25.
Consider this: ESPN's FPI projects LSU to win each of its remaining games except a Nov. 9 trip to Alabama (31.3%). What if that's LSU's only loss and Bama wins the SEC? We've seen an SEC team finish in the top four without winning the West (Alabama). The same question can be asked for Auburn, which has its own thrilling nonconference win over Oregon.
What if ... LSU and Georgia finish with one loss, each to the SEC champ, Alabama?
OK, OK, we're jumping ahead here, but the SEC's performances the past two weeks have opened the door to the possibility of multiple SEC teams finishing in the top four. Again.
That could make life difficult, of course, for the other Power 5 conference champions that finish with at least one loss, especially if Texas runs the table and wins the Big 12. Yes, Oklahoma is the conference's team to beat until proven otherwise, but it's hardly as if Texas fell apart against a talented LSU team. If LSU and Texas are both in the mix -- and Texas has a league title and LSU doesn't -- things could get very tricky for the selection committee.

Top of the SEC looks pretty good this year. Should be fun.

ESPN has to drum up drama somehow. When Alabama's defense makes Joe Burrow a vegetable in two months, I'm sure ESPN will find another narrative to latch onto to drive up ratings.

Didn't read, UK is winning the conference.

A long way to go, but, LSU certainly has proven more than anybody else.

I’m not sold on Auburn being in that conversation quite yet.

And that only happened because the team they were contending with for the 4th spot had 2 losses not 1, 1 of which was one of the most embarrassing losses of the year. If the other main players this year only have 1 loss lsu will be skipped and then they'll complain about a bama bias that doesn't exist

You can take AU off of the list. We are vastly overrated and that is just being honest. Congrats LSU, that offense makes the offense of our "genius" look like a high school off....oh wait, it is....damn

Is this a copy and paste of an article?
Did you forget how to do links and quotes?

Isn’t this basically the same shite as last year?
LSU beats the shite out of Georgia, and now they’re legit
LSU wins a hard-fought game against a Big 12 team that’s known for having shite defense, and now they’re world-beaters
Just because the Texas game was fun to watch doesn’t mean that LSU or Texas is a top 5 team.
I think LSU’s good. Probably a top 10 team, but there’s a LONG ways to go, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Alabama beats them by a very similar score as last year.
As for Auburn, don’t make me laugh. They downgraded at QB from a year ago. They seem to have more “magic” this season, but they’re just simply not that talented. They’re likely a 4 loss team at best.
