DL is probably the best part of the defense.

Secondary, especially without Brad Stewart who was suspended for violating team rules, was shaky.

LBs actually were the biggest surprise. Miller and Houston (other than Houston's boneheaded PF penalty on the fake FG) were very good all night.

They were getting in backfield fast

A lot of miss assignments but they also manhandled that OL a little

Just off field shite is what I would hate

I wouldn't make it as a coach bc I wouldn't go for that shite

Grantham is usually good at pass rushing, and Miami has an truly awful OL, so they looked exactly how I expected.

Miami ran the ball better than I would have expected with the OL/DL mismatch. Pass rush was great. Run D not so much.

Seems like Miami wasn't picking up blitz to me

I guess those were the times no one touched the sacker

Kinda wild stat from last night:

Turnovers luck from Week 0:

UF vs Miami
Exp TO margin: UF +0.5
Actual: UM +3
Luck: UM +3.5 (~14-17 points)

UH vs Arizona
Exp: UA +1.2
Actual: UA +4
Luck: UA +2.8 (~11-14 points)

Randomness turned two easy wins into nailbiters. Let's break football in 2019!

UF made that game way closer than it should have been.

They are very good at rushing the passer, but not so great at stopping the run (Miami RB Dallas finished the game with 7.9 ypc).

Last year when Miami had an experienced line they were 75th in sacks allowed. Rookie QB not getting rid of it didn't help but it was impressive how fast the Gators ran through those turnstiles.

They are very good but number 60 on Miami couldn't touch anybody the end was able to get by him with ease every play

Not to mention all the ones they could have created for themselves but never came up with the ball.

Mullen will have them doing fumble drills for the next 2 weeks.

60 had like 10 holding penalties so at least he was trying. I don’t know what the other 4 were doing.
