Miami only had two good runs all night. One was a wildcat. They didn't run the ball well. Just got us one that wild cat really.

Obviously their line was awful. Our secondary had a bad night though. Hopefully that gets worked out these next two weeks. I highly doubt Wilson and Henderson forgot how to tackle though..just first night and probably haven't hit much in camp

Wildcat runs still count.

Obviously, next game will look good, but it will be very interesting to see what the run D looks like in Lexington. UK has a good OL, and even though they lost Snell, Rose and Smoke look to be good replacements. Last year Gator tackling issues helped UK on the way to 300+ yards rushing in the Swamp. Does the performance vs. Miami really instill confidence those issues won't rear their ugly heads again?

I think 4 of the 5 had never started a game. Including having a new center.

i wouldn't take anything from this game other than both teams needed 1 more week of practice

Grantham leaves in starters for blowouts to pad the stats.

No other team does that.
It is why there is a "skewed favorable number" for Grantham and all of a sudden against good/great teams you get duds.

S&P+ adjusts its rankings based on SOS/opponents... so, this doesn't factor into their ratings

and not defending Grantham here... I think he's avg at best... but your reasoning is incorrect
