Who expects an offensive performance similar to what we saw last night in Florida? Or will this be the year Gus finally delivers on all his promise right out of the gate?

We have an experienced offensive line so I expect us to be able to block better than Florida did.

We have an experienced running back. We should be able to rush for more than 52 yards on 27 carries.

We have experienced receivers.

The freshman QB we have won the job over a talented guy who has been in the program for 2 years.

I’m optimistic.

If we look like UF did on offense then this place will be Chernobyl.

Its going to be awesome. Gus will have Bo ready and from the first snap, Auburns offense will be clicking on all cylinders. We will probably score 6 times in the first quarter then get the running game going in the second quarter and only score 5

Going into half time, Gus will turn on the afterburners and get 11 TD's in the second half and have Carlson kick a 66 yard field goal to keep from running up the score

Why? Because that is what every team does. They come right out of the gate with a true freshman quarterback and its clicking like a mofo.

I cant wait

Last year against Washington was kind of slow.

First game, new QB, I just want a win and to get out. Then use our next two games to find our rhythm.

On the other hand, there’s no way Nix is worse than Franks. Franks is awful.

What a great way to start the game week thread. By talking negatively about us and another game. Anchor

I think Joiner is going to be a force at RB. Dude has a frame like D Mac during his Arkansas years.

Cautiously optimistic.

Our defense and special teams will keep us in every game. The only real question is what can we get from the QB position?

I didn't intend it to be negative...Generally I believe everyone overreacts to game 1. I bet UF is better on O than they looked last night. I'm cautiously optimistic Bo will be the answer to some of the past issues. I like the OL, but don't know that I fully trust them. I'm expecting us to have a few promising drives and some struggles, but the D will bail us out. I guess I'm hoping it plays out similar to WSU in 2013.

I will be curious to see if we have an effective RB rotation. That's an issue we don't talk about it that much. Gus has shown an ability to address issues in the past so I hope Caddie has a plan and they stick to it.
