To see Texas A&M beat LSU again.

Any advice from our friendly resident Cajuns, or other SEC brethren with Death Valley experience, on how to not get shanked or have piss balloons thrown at me?

Luckily I’m going with a buddy who was born and raised in Lafayette, so if I need someone to translate my English into Coonass, I’ll be covered.

Accepting any and all tips, advice, thoughts and prayers for this journey into darkness.

Thanks in advance.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, I want to experience Death Valley and Louisiana in general for myself. Obviously one of the greatest venues in all of College Football.

This will also be my last A&M game as a student, so I want to make it a special experience to remember.

I’ve only been to CFB games at Kyle Field, DKR, and Jerry World. I need to expand my horizons.

Hope to make it to all the SEC stadiums over the next decade.

Enjoy the sights of a campus that doesn’t look like it was built to shelter Soviet military hardware.

Drink/eat a lot and don’t be a dick. You’ll be fine.

Go see the band marching down the hill, go by mikes cage, and just enjoy the experience. If you’re not a douche most fans will be welcoming

Is your goal to come off as a complete and total douche bag? Because if so, you’ve succeeded.

Will do. Looking forward to seeing Mike.

Is there a certain time the band marches before kick off?

I laid off heavy drinking and being a douche at football games after an incident at Jerry World lmao.

I just wanna eat some great food with some great people and see what Baton Rouge/ Death Valley is really like. Everyone in CS talks about BR like it’s Baghdad.

Okay. Cool, Gig ‘Em. My original post is par for the course for this message board. I figured that would be understood.

I am serious about tips / advice things to make sure to see and do while I’m there though. Want to get the entire experience.

No, it’s more in line with something cajunbama would say.
If you want advice, just ask. You’ll be treated well.

Advice?

Be humble when y’all lose.

Worst post-game fans I ever experienced was Aggie fans after A&M lost to the Ragin Cajuns in 1996 at Cajun Field. Everyone was cool pre-game. Afterwards it was nothing but cursing, obscene gestures and (in my case at least) a vandalized truck.

This time, just accept the beating, thank your hosts, and GTFO quietly.

1. Get"Tiger-Bait!"ed walking around campus.

2. Laugh and point to your Aggie logo, dance, and keep laughing.

3.????

Eat and drink for free over and over and over

Eat the gumbo and etouffee. Even if you lose, it will be worth the trip.
