why?

I grew to absolutely hate Miami with a passion many years ago. It happened when Miami was playing Penn State and Warren Sapp and company came off the airplane wearing camouflage and talking about how bad they were going to beat Penn State. Then at the Bowl Banquet Penn State did a skit (Both teams were supposed to) poking fun of Jimmy Johnson's hair going through a hurricane and not moving and the Miami players got up and walked out of the banquet.

I've hated them ever since. I hold grudges a long, long time.

That said....I might end up being happy that one team has to lose.

ETA
Also, I have 2-3 people that I have a ton of respect for that are big Florida fans, so I don't exactly hate them all.

It's possible. I still can't believe that thing has gone on as long as it has.

Huh?I realize you guys sucked last year but the SECE had 3 teams that finished in the top 12 and had a better head to head record vs the West. When exactly was the last time that happened.

UF last year was like SC the year before. They won some games by the grace of God. Three games they won they shouldn't have. Since then they've lost a lot and they'll have a season this year like SC had last year.

Kentucky was the other one. They had an excellent season last year but they'll take a step back this year.

Last year UF got all the bounces and that allowed them to win three close games. The ones they lost they lost badly.

The LSU win was big.

UF has depth issues everywhere this year. Their starters are very decent but they have depth issues, and obviously some internal problems.

Wonder why you mysteriously disappear when someone mentions how Mullen has already won more games against final ranked teams in 1 year at UF than he did in 9 years at MSU. That's a whole lot of text you posted though.

According to UGa fans, "The Gap" is big enough for all of them to fit into and have a circle jerk. They don't have a championship, but they do have "The Gap!"

"The Gap" >>>>> A National Championship

Don't ever say anyone is closing "The Gap" or they will pull out their handy dandy recruiting rankings on your azz and give you a oratorical beatdown!

Long live "The Gap!

I’m sorry your coach can’t ‘cruit or compete on the field with the top of the SEC East.

I still don't like Florida. I mean, really....most of us "don't like" another school because of a rivalry that doesn't really mean anything, or because we had a bad experience with a/some fans from the school.

However, Georgia fans rarely bring up a gap. We really didn't think about it until some Florida fans came on here claiming they were closing the gap. I wish I knew who it was, now so I could ask them if they still felt that way after this summer.

The driver that beat Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl in his second year and has beaten all east opponents by a double digit margin for 2 straight years is still pretty fricking good.

Butch took Mayfield and OU to OT with our 2015 team. I wouldn't use OU/Mayfield as a measure.

Are we measuring in miles, leagues, or light-years?

That was about 5 or 6 years before Sapp stepped on campus

Also, when did I disappear from that? I've spent about 9 hours of the day in an airplane, and on flight to London now.. sorry if you get lonely in advance.

Tennessee is the new Kentucky. It’s a basketball school now.
