Can you give me a third choice?

Let's see.

A certain Texas school with a prominent donor whose name rhymes with Mahomes, had said donor publicly say that, before their black coach even coached a game that he was "good enough to be a coordinator but not head coach material". They fired their coach after year 3.

That same school, the year after firing their head coach, had one of their graduates send a letter to the house of the head coach of another Texas school, who happened to be black. That letter contained racial slurs and the media immediately blamed that coach's school even though it was discovered later, as most of us knew would happen, that it was a member of the other school's alumni base that sent it.

Well no. If it wasn't Brown, it would have been Muschamp.

He is going to be a DC again in about 3 years. It will be interesting to see if anyone will offer him another head coaching job after USCe fires him.

I agree that he won't be at USC in three years. I have no idea if that means he'll be a coordinator, at a better program, or if he'll just outright retire.

We'll know what his shelf life is, either way, at the end of this season. I'd kinda expect 4-8.

You and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum where our predictions for the next three years are concerned.

I hope I am still alive, and you are still around, for me to come back and make you eat crow on that post right there.

I'm putting it in my Google calendar to make it a yearly reminder thing every 16 August because there is something in that post to be proven wrong each of the next three years around this time of the year.

If you are right, I'll gladly eat that crow. We can make it an annual atonement.

He probably would have done better than Charlie Strong.
Feint praise indeed.

Just when I start to feel bad about all that "White Lives Matter" and "racist biology lesson" crap that's being used to torpedo your 2020 recruiting efforts, you go and post something like this and remind me that y'all totally deserve it.

The fact that yall are using an attempted protest that was stopped by the school tells everyone how desperate yall are. Keep using racial issues as your recruiting pitch KlanHorns it'll come back and bite you in the arse soon enough

He probably would have been a disaster at Texas.

I still am amazed that he got the South Carolina job, although he seems to have learned from his failure at UF.

You laugh at this possibility but you must forget how hot of a name Muschamp was in 2008. Or maybe you were like 10 yrs old in 2008.

All 3 of these schools were perfectly logical head coach destinations for Muschamp in 08.
