When was the last time UF played an OOC game out of state? Wasn’t it in the 1970s?

Arkansas should help other SEC teams reach bowl eligibility until they get rid of Chad Morris. They're basically a free W.
Something nice about LSU.
Auburn/Georgia and Alabama/Tennessee should be the only 2 preserved. There's no point in preserving Florida vs LSU. That's not a rivalry at all.

re: Will the SEC remain at 14 teams? (one last offseason topic)

This is the system that the WAC used for 3 years before 8 teams left and formed the MWC.
Anyway, I suggested a pod system using the current 14 teams on the SEC Rant and got downvoted to hell for it.

What about the 2010 Alabama team? That team lost 3 games. That was worse than the 2014 team.
I thought it was bad enough when Sports Illustrated ranked that as the #10 game ever. There the LSU fans are acting like it should be #1.
Taggart repairing a broken FSU program? Lol. Fisher had great recruiting classes there. Taggart is doing badly at FSU because he's a terrible coach. This will probably be his last year there.
Anyway, my understanding is that Muschamp got the USCe job because Spurrier left behind such a dumpfire and nobody else wanted the job. It's actually pretty good that he's been able to lead the Cocks to bowl games.

Pod system

Here's my idea for the SEC
Pod 1: Florida, Georgia, Vanderbilt
Pod 2: Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee
Pod 3: USCe, ATM, LSU, Arkansas
Pod 4: Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Mississippi State
Pod 1 or Pod 2 is combined with either Pod 3 or Pod 4. The pods rotate every year.
There are 9 conference games.
Everybody in Pod 1 plays everybody in Pod 2 every year. Everybody in Pod 3 plays 3 of the 4 teams that are in pod 4 every year.
This way, you play every team in the SEC at least once every 2 years.

re: Will Muschamp was head coach in waiting at Texas. Would he have done well as UT HC?

He probably would have been a disaster at Texas.
I still am amazed that he got the South Carolina job, although he seems to have learned from his failure at UF.

Dinardo sucked.
Yale at #7 is hilarious.

I meant that if I were falling without a fully functioning parachute. Obviously if I had a working parachute and could fall to the ground unharmed I'd do so.
Seriously, there's a very good chance that this woman will spend decades wishing she had actually died. I'm half wondering if she's actually paralyzed from the fall, but they deliberately don't mention it in the article because they want to create the impression she's unbelievably lucky.

What’s the fourth? Are you seriously counting 1908? You do realize that Southern football was weak in those days and the main powers were the Ivy League schools, right?
I’m about 99.9% sure JBGleasin was making up BS.

Greenland is about 1/14th as big as Africa. It only appears to be as big as Africa on a Mercator Projection because Mercator greatly exaggerates the size of northern locations. The Greenland/Africa thing is probably the most famous flaw of the Mercator Projection.
RFK wanted to get AIPAC to register as foreign agents, and he was so pro-Israel by the standards of the 1960s that he got assasinated for it.
Today, no politician would dare suggest that AIPAC should have to register as foreign agents.

Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are a lot bigger than New Hampshire and Minnesota.
Why the hell isn’t AIPAC required to register as foreign agents?

When you win 95% of the black vote, it’s impossible to improve. Even if they were to get 97% of the black vote instead of 95%, that only gains them about 0.2% of the popular vote nationally. Who cares?
