I wonder who they all think will beat Georgia.

Staples and Mandel both have Florida and Auburn with 4 losses? Then who in the hell do they think will beat Georgia??? I guess Texas A&M. But they all have Aggie with 3 losses each, and that game is in Athens.

Stewart Mandel's predictions are really dumb if you think about it.

I mean ... I guess I see how each of them arrived at what I'm sure each one of them consider to be reasonable predictions, but they're really not that reasonable. They sort of illustrate all three's lack of knowledge of the conference overall. They didn't put much thought into any of what they gave us. They gave it their minimum.

I absolutely hate seeing all those sports media predicting Bama to go undefeated. People are usually wrong and FOS so that worries me.

Exactly. They all figured that someone would beat Georgia, and maybe someone will, but Mandel and Staples especially didn't seem to put any thought into exactly who that would be and what that would mean in terms of how good that team would have to be.

I think predictions are cute. I would care a little more about them if they all did a comparison after the season and showed the difference between what they predicted and what actually happened.

A&M gonna be salty. Although their daddies getting predicted at 12-0 will give them some pleasure

If you don't pick them to go undefeated, then you have to ask yourself who will beat them. If you're picking the records for the entire conference, then you should be able to go out on a limb and say who they will lose to, because you then have to factor that win into the other team's predicted record.

Not really. We were predicted 3rd, 4th, or 5th last year and finished 2nd...

So, you will be salty this time when you finish 4th or 5th.

I want to see a show on Mondays where sportwriters/personalities have to come on and own their predictions for the games that previous week, whether they were right or wrong.
Of course that will never happen, there is no accountability at all

I don't think that Aggies will be much better than last year, but I do they they stay per par and remain the #2 team in the West.
