Of course he takes my CC to some Vineyard Vines store.

Deer Lowered they're proud of their pretty little stuff

I may need to find a school that still uses uniforms

When I was in middle school my district went to a "strict dress code" which was basically a uniform.

-Black, grey, white, or yellow solid colored shirts with a collar

-Navy, black, or khaki shorts or pants

-Tucked in shirt tails

-No hoodies

-Jackets had to be one of the 4 shirt colors

We hated it as students till it we realized how much easier it made it to get ready but the parents loved it from the get go

I say all the time I wish our school district had uniforms. The moms living vicariously through their kids would never allow it though.

Had uniforms PK-8 and 10-12. Very strict, khaki pants/shorts, school logo polo, black or brown shoes. Public school mind you.

9th grade was Katrina for me and i went to school in Michigan. Uniforms have pros/cons.

At my school, pretty much everyone wore a t shirt and jeans/shorts that were from target/TSC/Kohls/etc
Evidently people where I'm from are simpler

I would not have wanted to wear a uniform though. Would be annoying

I wear Vineyard Vines polos. They fit me the best out of all the brands. Granted, I’m also 35 and I don’t buy clothes on my parents’ cards.

Baby DSJ won't be there for a few years, but the school at which we are looking requires uniforms-thank heavens. But tuition is required, so there's that.

School uniforms were the tits.

Khaki shorts or pants and then pick one of the 5 school branded colored polo shirts to wear and you're good to go.

Only thing that sucked was in the Winter when you were forced to wear the cheap "outerwear" approved by the school.

Sometimes it is worth it. The two years I had at a Catholic High School were the best two years of education I had, and yes, that includes the universities I went to.

You have to do your research and make sure its a good private school though. We lucked into a top 100 school in America and 86 out of the 88 people in my graduating class went on to college. One of the two who didn't became a NASCAR mechanic and the other went on to become the starting first baseman for a MLB team so they both did pretty well for themselves.

Catholic school is the plan. The one in my town is excellent, and a block away from our home. It's in the top 5 private schools in the state, and the tuition is pretty reasonable.

Mine was also a public school. They're reasoning was they read studies where school uniforms reduced fights and gang activity.

I am here to tell you that it did neither

Excuse the Hoosier for not understanding the need of wearing a bowtie and skinny khakis or a designer polo regularly

Barefoot, sporting your sisters' hand-me-down cutoffs, and a Warrant t-shirt suffices for a school uniform up there, I'd expect.

Has a pronoun been chosen for Little Cane, yet?
