Clemson laid out the template. Bama must change or suffer the same fate. Everyone will show one coverage and switch after the snap. Sark will prepare Tua for the next level. He will replace Brees. So shall it be written...

I could be wrong but I think Gruden is trying to get Tua.

Yes, but only because Ray was banged up.

And with Ray being out for several weeks, that is good for Justin E. More reps he gets against the 1's the better for him as the season progresses. I would rather have a 100% Ray a bit later like the USCe game and esp the aTm game than worry about him creating complications. I believe in the new guys and the back ups.

Justin is pretty dang good. Ray should be good by launch though.

We are pretty deep now. I’m liking it.

Really miss state laid out the blueprint. We’ve def got to add some more stuff than the quick throws.

I don’t want to say it but Ben Davis has improved and fairly drastically.

Seems the last few years either Miss State or Auburn has laid the blueprint on how to beat us and we really haven't had an answer.

In the sense that Jerrell Harris improved or in the sense that Reuben Foster improved? Because when you're starting out at pretty much rock bottom, "improvement" is very relative. At this point I think all of us would be thrilled with any positive contribution from Ben though.

It's because I railed on him all last year. I railed on Quinnen Williams and he turned into one of the best DLineman to come out during the last decade. I railed on Jalen and he turned into a fan favorite that engineered the winning drive for the SEC title. That's why I have railed on Pete Golding.....hoping some of that juju will come through for him too.

Seriously, good to hear. Would love to have him on the two deep.

Pick a few more guys that we need to step up and rail on them some too.

I don't know if this is a fair characterization. Ben Davis has always been a very good athlete who was reportedly soft. That doesn't equate to rock bottom.

Perhaps Davis needed a few years to mature on and off the field, toughen up a bit, and now is ready to contribute. Hell, if we were Wisconsin this story would be the norm. Some kids need to marinate in the system for a while.

Given the departure of Anoma, this - along with Chris Allen's continued health - couldn't be better news.

Does Coach Sal deserve big props for motivating Ben and toughening him up?
