Stanford's HC David Shaw confirms an earlier conversation ITT about players at Bama benefitting dramatically over their peers at other programs when it comes to NIL

"That's not market value...that's Alabama value."

20 teams are above aubie on that list...
but, after Bo goes pro next year, just after winning the heisman, Davey O' and Johnny U awards... he will boost their rankings

I tend to agree with him. He didnt get that value by being a good or great high school QB. Much of it is based on the fact that he is expected to be the next starting QB for Alabama. If he were at Central Florida, no way he gets that much in endorsements before he plays a meaningful snap.

Wasn't sure where to post this. I didn't see a "Bama in the NFL" thread and didn't think this warranted its own, but it's pretty cool and thought some may enjoy it.

Here's a link for the NFL college tracker.

A few interesting things in there:

* Tennessee and Texas each have 36 players. That stood out to me for some reason.

* LSU players are getting some big contracts.

* SEC has four of the top ten, so does the B1G.

* North Alabama is only on the list because of Janoris Jenkins. His $65M is more than Northwestern's 24 players combined, more than Baylor's 19 players combined and a few other schools as well.

* Kareem Jackson would not have been my first guess for second most career earnings for active players. Makes sense though for a 12 year career.

I'm sure there are a lot more if you look long enough.

Sadly there are people here that would vehemently disagree with this

I like this idea, a lot!

Insider that has legit info
quote:

I'm back after summer workouts. There was no need to update until now. The season starts August 5th! Players are ready to repeat and have come together as a team over the summer!
The defense is going to be the best in college football but don't sleep on this offense. I thought I would get you ready for practice with an update on the offense that I have gotten from.

The Truth... as for the beef. The starters all summer have been from left to right Evan Neal, Javion Cohen, Chris Owens, Emil Ekiyor, and Kendall Randolph. They have really come together. There is still some competition and the next guys up are Tommy Brown, JC Latham, and Damieon George. and at center is Darrian Dalcourt. Pierce Quick and Tommy Brockermeyer are two others to watch.

The Truth...This WR group is way underrated! With the addition of the freshman and J Williams, don't sleep on this group! I expect us to play 6 or 7 WRs to get these new players on the field fast and often. The starters going into next week are John Metchie, Slade Bolden, and Javon baker. Next up and could move up are Jameson Williams, Traeshon Holden, Agila Hall, and Christian Leary. Slade has been consistent all summer. Metchie is the leader/ stud and Baker has looked good too. Metchie was a deep threat last year and will be again this year. Baker is very good on possession catches as is Slade. But, the next 4 have really had a great summer with mostly the twos and some with the ones. Jameson Williams can flat out burn it, we have our deep threat along with Metchie!!! Williams has that "it" factor too. Holden runs great routes and is very consistent and is a deep threat. Hall is a "go to guy" type receiver. He is great on making plays on the sidelines as he did in spring game and all summer. The Tyson Hall connection continued all summer every day. Leary is the one that has really stepped up from spring. He has "the moves" and great hands. He has come on strong with the twos all summer. FYI, I do not expect Xavier to play this year as he is recovering from injury.

The Truth... The coaches feel great about QB after spring and summer. Bryce continues to excel!! and has become a leader on the team. He has worked really hard to get his timing down on tight throws and tough throws. He is extremely accurate and very elusive in the pocket. He will use every WR and he loves the TE down the middle. He also likes throwing to the backs out of the backfield as he did in spring game. With the WRs coming on, look for Bryce to have a huge year!!!!!. Bryce and the other QBs have spent hours with Coach O'Brien getting ready for season. Tyson has had a great summer and fully recovered from a hurt hamstring in final two weeks of spring. He has taken every snap with the twos and has shown that he is one of the best pocket passers around and throws a great deep ball. He has had a great 7-7 summer and especially good in 2 minute offense with his quick release and quick decision making. He has worked all summer on play book, quick reads on defenses, and on extending plays. The coaches are getting him ready if Bryce gets hurt. Bryce is clearly one but Tyson is ready if needed. Milroe is getting better every day but it is hard for a first year guy with this complex offense. He is the strongest and fastest QB, but way behind the others in throwing ability and knowledge of offense. I do expect us to put in a running package to use as a surprise.

The Truth... Everybody knows about our two NFL TEs. You can expect huge things from Jahleel Billingsley and Latu Cameron. As I told you guys last spring, expect to see them on the field together. This will cause matchup nightmares!! Bryce and Tyson love throwing to them as they are huge targets. Billingsley is more athletic so I expect him to be a go to guy on third down. He will be a first rounder next year.

The Truth.. There is no way any team in the country has a group of RBs better than our 5!!! I know this is crazy but I cannot see how they all don't play some. They are that good. Brian Robinson is the leader and starter. They have moved around Trey Sanders, Jase McClellan, and Roydell Williams all summer. They are all three explosive and have great hands. They have caught a ton of TD passes in 7-7. But, If the numbers were not on the jerseys, Camar Wheaton would jump out. Many think that he could be "that guy". He is young and has 4 guys ahead of him but he is The Truth!!
The truth... We love this offense! It is so much better than people think!

I plan to go ahead and order the 2021 Pre-season NC banner. If UGA can get them then so can Bama.
