I think it’s perfectly clear to anyone with a brain the Saban, Jimbo, Kirby, & Mullen are light years ahead of the rest of the conference. With the way recruiting, facilities, and coaching are aligning for these squads will the SEC be reduced the just 3 games mattering all year long?

LSU is the new number one in facilities...coaching, maybe not.

Mullen doesn’t have a ring.

This as much as it pains me to say it.

I’ve been a fan of Jimbo since he coached here, but 100 years of data @ A&M can’t be ignored. Jimbo was a 10-2 coach outside of Winston’s 2 years at FSU, and then he just quit doing the job.

Mullen will have UF ready to go once he gets his guy at QB, but he still hasn’t done anything to be a “sure thing”

IMO Ed O should be included as well. LSU is an easy school to recruit at and Ed O is an elite recruiter. Pruitt is a wildcard at UT too. Any of the defensive coach's that are elite recruiters are an OC hire away from making a run.

Saban.... obviously.

Kirby.... yes. Won the SEC in 2017. Played in the National Title Game in 2017. Won the SEC East in 2018.

Not exactly sure what Jimbo or Mullen have done to even be warranted in the same conversation.

Texas A&M brought in a decent recruiting class in 2019, but it was still well behind Alabama and Georgia in talent.... and pretty much in the same ballpark with LSU, Florida, and Auburn.

Looking at the Class of 2020, Texas A&M is currently well behind Alabama, Georgia and even LSU and it appears there is very little hope of catching those three when all the signatures are in. Texas A&M looks likely to bring in another class ranked in the #6 - #15 range along with Florid and Auburn.

Currently Alabama and Georgia are your best bets to sit atop the league in the next 5 years.... I see no reason why Florida or Texas A&M should be included over LSU and Auburn.

IMO, there are two at the top.... four others which are obviously going to have talent.... then several other programs (MSU, UT, SCe) ect. which could be capable of having a great year if things come together.
