crazy they left out the most notable player, at least at the collegiate level, Josh Reed.

Freddie Milons, Tyrone Prothro, and DJ Hall were all very good recievers
I'll give you Hall but Milons was a one hit wonder who was more famous for his persona and punt returns than as a receiver. In four years at Alabama he had about 1800 yards (along with 6 total TDs) receiving and never more than 750 yards in a single season.
Prothro is kind of a "best there never was" due to his injury. Truth be told, his career high for receiving yards in a season was 347 yards. Granted he almost matched that in his junior season through 5 games before his injury.

There is no science to this discussion, but I disagree with the methodology the writer uses. Puts way too much weight on subjective things like all-american teams and Heisman trophies. That is why you see clear mistakes like Georgia RB too low, A&M QB too high, etc.

Wasn’t Justin Houston the highest paid player in the NFL for a while?
Also, it’s not just draft picks but all conference and all American sections where UGA has done pretty well (off the top of my head Boss Bailey, Dannell Ellerbe, Rennie Curran, Jarvis Jones, Justin Houston, Ogletree, Roquan Smith, Lorenzo Carter)

This is really the crux of it. Out of Gurley, Chubb, Michel, and Knowshown only Knowshown made an All american roster and I think he’d be the last picked out of that group by anyone putting together a team

List is shite. I don't see any MsState players on this list.

Bama's done pretty well too. I posted Bama's and UGA's consensus AA's from 1998 (start of BCS era). Bama has had 7 consensus AA's; Georgia 2.

They don’t have to be consensus AAs and factor in varying levels of All SEC as well.
I think we can all agree their method is flawed in a big way but they’re not just looking at the highest achievers from a group (consensus AAs and pro bowlers) but also factoring in other categories meant to catch the middle pack players (problem is they’re awarding points based on certain levels of success that don’t actually correlate to the production on the field). For example, UGA is receiving more points for Knowshown being a consensus AA than any of Chubb, Michel, or Gurley being all conference which is absurd

The reason the salty LSU fans never came is because they think the list must be joking.
