Yeah because they could compete for the east every year. Playing Kentucky and Tennessee every year is much better than LSU, State, and A&M

This is the truth right here. I get they should be with the East because of geographical location, but its honestly about taking advantage of the weak East. Auburn would be a top 2 East team every year.
As a lowly Arkansas team, who sucks, I'd rather their competitiveness stay in the West.

Move Bama and Auburn to the East.
Move Mizzou and Vandy to the West.
It fixes all the “permanent” opponent garbage...Auburn plays UGA, Bama, UF
Bama plays TENN, Auburn.
We can go to rotating opponents, and not have to wait 10 years to visit stadiums all because of keeping alive 57 different “rivalries”.
