Actually the iron bowl would cease. We covered this with them each time. We gave them a game. Then we agreed to play at JHS. The gifts are over. No way we appease them to fit their schedule while sacrificing ours. It's why they haven't already moved. Go to 9 games and the iron bowl stays tho.

Aubbie would suffer mightily without Bama on the schedule.

Lol playing Mississippi State is exactly like playing Tennessee.

That should have said Alabama, A&M, and LSU.

And how would you cull the weaker members of your fan base without the Iron Bowl loss to murder each other over?

Then why don't you split MS & MSU if you want to talk about "being weak"?

Yeah because they could compete for the east every year. Playing Kentucky and Tennessee every year is much better than LSU, State, and A&M

And they wouldn’t play Alabama every year also......

Nor will the SEC split Tn./ Vandy NOR Ala./Aub....all 3 pairs locked due to the same-state connection.

So...Aub. CAN'T go East...Vandy CAN'T go West.
Therefore for Mizz. to flip, Ark., LSU, or TA&M will have to be the other team.

Hence why we need to add 2 teams to alleviate the gridlock...or the SEC should have grabbed a TRUE Eastern school with TA&M.

&, as it's been pointed out, Ala. & Aub. can't flip together without giving LSU the West almost yearly.

& doing no-divs. with ____ yearly rivals & rotating the rest would require tiebreakers to compare Ll 14 teams to each other to determine rankings. & then how do you decide the SEC Champ....doing like the B12 with a repeat game from the season?
