Mike isn't the HC here.
The baseball tourney format is closes to the NIT format.
Trying to compare the Baseball tourney to the Basketball tourney is a strawman at best.

Obviously.
CFB - Post season games all played at a neutral site. SEC-C in Atlanta, Bowl Games
MBB - NCAA Tourney played at neutral sites. A few schools could theoretically play on their home floor, but this normally does not happen.
NIT First two rounds played Home/Road format for highest seed, final round played at neutral site (MSG).
CBB- First Two rounds played home/road format for highest seed, final round played at neutral site (Omaha)
