I will defend him with our men's basketball and softball hires.... aside from that, don't let the door hit him on the way out

The only unfortunate part of this is that we will inevitably go out and hire John Hartwell from Utah State. I don't want anyone who learned how to be an athletic director under Pete Boone.

Bjork is about to role out the red carpet for the NCAA when aTm’s b-ball program gets investigated

I bet we will have an interim until a new chancellor is appointed. Which means two really slow hiring decisions have to be made before any coaching changes will be considered. Sadly this means Luke ain’t going anywhere baring a Houston Nutt type year, and Bianco is as safe as he’s ever been regardless of what happens this postseason.

Keith Carter will be the interim until we have a chancellor. Doesn't make sense to let an interim make a permanent hire there anyway

Bianco is safe. Bianco was probably always safe, but he's especially safe now

Will be interesting to see what the path forward is regarding Luke. Bianco is definitely safe now, but people will still be calling for Luke’s head this fall if we don’t make a bowl game.

I can't wait for us to hire Keith Carter full time and for both Luke and Bianco be safe for a long time

I'm not sad to see Ross go either, but you can't deny that he did do some positive things for Ole Miss over his tenure. Glad to move on though.

Hired Kermit, successfully fund-raised for the Pav Pad, refurbished Swayze and VHS, good academics record with sports programs, golf/softball have improved during his tenure.

Sure, did he have help with all those things (Keith Carter, SEC Network Money, support staff, etc.) but the AD does get some credit to.

He's not the antichrist certain OM plebs are making him out to be.

Agreed, but one more separation from anybody who was associated with the investigation is good.

Yeah I think it's probably a win-win in the long term bc most fans were looking for a fresh start regardless.

I'm just scared one of Luke's buddies gets hired as the next AD and now we are stuck for even longer than expected.

The jury is still out on Kermit.

The north Endzone expansion of VHS was terrible. He really cheaped out with those bleachers.

He had 3 sports hammered for NCAA violations.

Season tickets are way down and we are saddled with the worst coach in the SEC for football.

He was a terrible AD.
