Richt had played in 3 SECC in 10 years and won two. And had gone to the SECCG as late as 2012 (ten years after his first). What other coaches besides Saban and Les Miles can make that claim ? No, UGA didn't fire Richt because LSU, Bama, UF and Auburn won NCs during his tenure. We know this because SOG told us so.

There you go again. You can not have it both ways. If you call Gus a 4 loss a year coach and do not point out 2013 and 2017 while playing in the West. You can't list Kirby's accomplishments 2 out of 3 years playing in the East. Kirby is a three plus loses a year coach right now.

Wow, 2 Mark Richt. Science must be hard for you.
You UGA Fans are reaching hard lately. 38 years of drought will do that.

Well the fact that '16 was kirby's first ever year as a head coach explains away some of that. Gus has been at AU for years so it's a little more legitimate to call him a 4 loss a year coach.

that has equal accomplishments as gus while being a head coach for less than half the time!

Surely now is the time for Gus to do better than averaging 3-4 losses a year?

What is Kirby averaging the last three years ?
Actually Gus is averaging 4 1/2 losses a year. losses a year.
Kirby is averaging 3 1/3 losses a year.

Gus didn't have to rely on his record in the East to win the West. We have discussed the results of his resume. Gus record against Saban was better than it was against LSU and their dynamic duo. But watching you dickride UGA is fun.

re you really under the impression Gus is doing better...or as well as Kirby Smart?

You don't think those losses to the East hurt Auburn's chances at winning the West?

I can understand because of the Mickey Mouse offense, players aren’t getting prepared for the next level, but what’s the explanation for the defense?

Just presenting facts. Fact is Gustav has performed almost exactly the same vs the East and the West.
Of course a lot of that is being 2-5 against Georgia, but your argument is the East sucks and Georgia sucks so really no difference there.

Absolutely. I mean, it is a fact. now do wins. How many wins does Kirby average, and how many wins does Gus average. Fibonacci is right, about ignoring the wins and focusing on the losses. But either way, Kirby wins the argument, doesn't he?
ETA
Now take 2013 away from Gus....his first only good year. You can count 2017 as a good year, but he still had 4 losses.

So if Gus played in the East, he would have two SECE Championships and SECC and an appearance in the BCSNCG. That would look similar to what Kirby has done. Do you think Kirby could have done it in the West ?

Gus lets the offensive players get 99% of the practice time

How do you figure that?
That's really stretching the imagination a bit, don't you think? You making wild guesses and making assumptions?
