Back in the old days pre 2005 Ole Miss would have gotten shut down. Compared to the wrist slap Ole Miss did get. LSU might get a talking too but that's is it.

Not a bad assessment. If the NCAA had something, Alleva, who routinely liked to remind us that he was happy bending over for the NCAA, would have never reinstated Wade.

For the NCAA to do something, it needs credible evidence and to this point, there is none.

Scott Woodward’s son is married to Mark Emmert’s daughter

LSU is like the mafia -- keep your friends close, and your enemies closer...or in this case, bring them into the family.

LSU is Teflon now and that drives some on this board mad.

since Cam Newton, Alabama, Miami, North Carolina etc, it’s obvious the college presidents don’t want to hear about anything illegal...

Am I the only one that would like to see all of this hypocrisy fully exposed?

LSU is too important to this conference to get any real punishment.

A comparable institution and your rival is just coming off probation

Nothing is happening to LSU basketball with the NCAA. Woodward and Emmert are family (one's son is married to the other's daughter). LSU will now get the same treatment from the NCAA that Alabama football gets (Saban's friendship with Emmert assures that).

We're golden with the NCAA as long as Emmert is in place.

An LSU guy, and Saban friend, runs the NCAA.

Nothing will ever happen to LSU or Bama while Emmert is in charge.

I’m okay with that. Saban will retire eventually.

Y’all really need to slow your roll with posting about LSU receiving preferential treatment. Not a good look and no need to give Emmert a reason to prove he’s not going easy on LSU.

Ole Miss not of comparable relative value to the conference as is LSU. But you already know this
