their college gear on the national TV set like they have with Barkley and auburn. It is like the little kid made it big so it is ok. Can you imagine the uproar if say the Ohio State guy did the same.

Kenny was wearing a UNC jersey and noone whined about it like you are here.

How many alters do you have to bash Barkley with?

He’s done it for weeks and the people watching love it so who GAF?

No question it’s ton of free pub. But you either tell Barkley to curtail it or you let him go on those grounds. Neither of which would go over well. That said I like Barkley.

It’s Barkley. Is it somewhat obnoxious and annoying? Sure. But is it the classic Barkley that people enjoy? Yep.

You let Barkley be Barkley.

That’s why inside the NBA is so popular. They let Barkley, Shaq, and Kenny be themselves and people like it. Why do they have to curtail anything if their viewers like it? What’s the point? To keep the small minority of people that don’t like it from starting stupid threads like this?

When does Auburn ever get good coverage. Every time they do something good they get shite on one way or the other, but this bothers you? Ohio St has countless alumni working at places like ESPN. Auburn doesn't, and doesn't get half the coverage. Big difference. There's two panels during the tournament. One is the 'Inside the NBA' comedy panel meant for lighthearted fun. They gloat and jab on ESPN too during football season. The horror.

So how do you feel about Bama having Finebaum everyday?

Because CBS is in the entertainment industry to sell ads and Charles Barkley is entertaining. It's pretty basic stuff.

Finebaum’s dickriding of Bama is far more embarrassing to his own credibility than anything Barkley could ever do to Auburn. After Auburn’s regular season championship and early exit of the NCAAt last year, he said he put much more into the stock of Avery Johnson’s future than Pearl’s. And that’s the norm for him. Constantly whiffing and pandering. Barkley is clearly a homer but he usually knows what he’s talking about. He actually picked FSU against Auburn.

I couldn't give less of a damn if they support their alma maters. I prefer that to the rest that pretend they hold no biases for their teams. On a side note, Barkley is a treasure and is thoroughly entertaining. He's one of the most likable sports personalities on air, so let him be.

Stfu dude

Sir Charles is money and ratings. He’s good people and you’re taking him more serious than he takes himself

Had to love in the pregame they asked Kenny about the Auburn Kentucky matchup and he framed his entire reply around elite teams like Duke and North Carolina.
