Auburn, if they stay hot, can win the national title.

Nate Oats better make something happen at Bama, because this ups the pressure x10.

I still say Texas Tech is the hottest team right now. Auburn losing that dude is ill fortuned.

We don’t compare ourselves to someone else. Create a standard. Work towards it.

I enjoy watching them play. I hope it makes Bama better seeing our rival be so competitive.

It really doesn't.

My only concern so far in 2019 is whether or not Saban can replace all the talent we lost in the back end of the defense - particularly at safety.

No way they win a national title, especially with Okeke out now. They have no bigs now, Duke would dominate them.

Alabama made the Elite 8 under Gottfried. We will be back there soon. Alabama has way more Bball tradition and success than Auburn.

And Auburn has a wayyy better team and established future than we have. Not directed at you, because A LOT of people do it, but I hate when people point to our 30 year-old basketball success as an indicator that we’re a better program than ____

No other thread in which to put it, but Pearl is a Teddy Bear who legitimately cares for his boys, and Roy Williams shits class. I don't know if anyone saw it, but Williams' comments post-game were as classy as it gets.

Auburn definitely has it rolling right now. Hopefully it spurs our program to new heights.
SEC is getting serious about basketball and we need to join them or get left behind.

I think the deal we gave Avery showed we are serious, but he was the wrong coach.

I feel a ton better about Oats.

Auburn football got better with Saban in Tuscaloosa. Not saying Pearl = Saban, but it’s common for your rival to elevate the level of play.

Regardless, Oats needs time.

Auburn has the talent to fill the void left by Chuma but those guys need to step up

Realistically though, Auburn is now a long shot

there is no "established" future anything, let alone a program whose coach has won 58% of his games at the school and who has had a good bit of ncaa trouble.

First of all, Auburn is hot as a firecracker right now BUT all it takes is one bad shooting game and they are toast. It’s coming too. Everything they threw up last night went in. That’s not gonna continue. Sweet baby Jesus, don’t let it continue...

Anybody else feel like this may be Pearl’s farewell tour? He’s elevated Auburn to a level they’ve never been on and several blue bloods are gonna need a coach soon. UCLA already does. Now I haven’t seen his name associated with any jobs yet but he’s got to be attracting the attention of bigger basketball schools with his performance. Don’t you think a bigger basketball is going to make a run at him?
