Highest ejection rates at college football games

"Tailgating is a major draw for fans to college football games, but with alcohol-infused fun comes harsh consequences.
According to the numbers, there are numerous programs taking steps to increase safety and the fan experience on gamedays, taking a no tolerance approach when it comes to belligerent behavior in the stands.
KGW8 NBC published a graphic showing the schools with the highest number of ejections per 1,000 fans at major college football programs from data taken in 2016. Due to variance extremes in law enforcement, staffing and liquor laws by program, it's difficult to pinpoint why some schools are higher than others in ejections and doesn't necessarily mean environments are unsafe. In fact, it could mean just the opposite.
According to KGW8 NBC, "some colleges provided detailed game day summaries, while other schools provided no records at all. These are the top schools out of the 66 that provided ejection numbers."
Clear-bag polices instituted at most schools in 2016 may have helped deter weapons from sneaking into stadiums somewhat, but liquor inside boots and other articles of clothing is difficult to stop. One could surmise most of these ejections are alcohol and public intoxication-related, but not all."
Here's a look at the 10 schools with the most ejections from data taken a couple years ago:

Those ejection numbers actually seem shockingly low.
I’d have expected them to be much higher.

Surprised Ole Miss isn’t higher. Eventually you think they’d get tired of cold chicken fingers and revolt.

People have to come to the games to be ejected.

Those 3 don't surprise me at all.
Georgia, Florida and South Carolina you're on the list. SC you're number one!

They threw me out of Tiger Stadium a few years ago because my urine propulsion device was landing balloons two feet to the right of the desired target. At first I was pissed, but then I remembered that piss bomb accuracy is a sacred trust .

I was thinking the same thing.

Expected far worse.

Sad part is that Florida doesnt really tailgate that much and drink. They are just assholes
They are def more big ten like in terms of their attitude than the rest of the away fans in the sec I have encountered

Only opposing fans I’ve ever seen taunt in Tiger Stadium are Florida fans and Alabama fans.

I don’t believe that 461,000 people went to Florida State home games last year.

According to KGW8 NBC
That's our local NBC affiliate here in the Portland metro so not surprised to see both Oregon and Oregon State in the top 5 for evictions otherwise it wouldn't have been very newsworthy for the local market.
I've never tried sneaking in booze to an Oregon State home game but they let you leave at halftime and come back so I can see where it would be a problem. Also, these Yankee kids can't hold their liquor. They started selling beer and wine throughout the stadium last year so they must not be too terribly concerned about it. $$$$ > all other concerns.
Apparently Carolina leads in evictions because they run a police state.
I can only assume LSU fans are sober and well behaved and therefore did not make the top 10.

Really smart if you think about it.
Gives them time to sober up. The longer you can keep them at the game the more likely they'll just be stuck in 5 hours of bumper to bumper traffic where they can't possibly kill anyone.

Only person I have ever seen murder someone was an LSU fan.
All this list proves is that we have higher standards...much like academics. USCe is just trying to pretend though, not sure why they are on there.
