Why do most of us struggle with mid-week games?
Does coaches just treat these as tune ups for their young guys?
I know Sully gets extremely experimental with his lineup for these games and he loses them often. Just curious if this is what most coaches do.

These small programs need these games.to try and boost their RPI. They are willing to throw their weekend starters to tey and get a win. No SEC school does that. Conference series more important.

True, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating to watch.

Sully needs to find some players on his bench after State beat the shite out of his weekend starters

Gamecocks 12 Furman 7 F/Greenville
12-2 lead for USC going to B9 and a wild pitch on a strike 3 that would have ended the game at 12-2 kept Furman alive as the batter reached 1B. Paladins plate 5 more runs on some bad baseball before Carolina could get the 27th out. this team...

I know. I've gotten butthurt after losses to teams like Charlotte or a team like that where DVH rests the starters and plays the bench. I know it's a smart move by Dave, but the fan in me doesn't like it.
