did read in a couple of articles that he had reached out several times to try and get the Arkansas job.
Maybe but my point is if he wanted out his name woulda been associated with multiple other jobs just to get leverage with whichever a job he wanted.
He honostly ended up with a shitty deal and buyout.

Not being passive aggressive just need you to check your facts. I have it on good authority that Pittman reached out to them and yes it is his dream job.

Staff in very recent contact with CJ Stroud. They definitely still going hard after him. I would personally rather us sacrifice at another position for him

My contacts are mixed. Some say he is staying and others say he is going. The later makes more sense with staff going hard after Stroud

Clearly you are more in the know about this which is why I asked.

Why would going after Stroud make sense that he is going? Or I'm I misreading?

Well if Fromm leaves, we will have an outright QB competition in spring/fall and need as many good options as possible

Oh you meant Fromm? I was thinking Coley

Is anyone for sure coming to the ESD event at the Battery?

I am just trying to share what I hear on good authority with other Dawg fans on the rant. I don’t post on here a lot but thought I would give it another try.
The sources were dead on last year and knew we lost Sermon before subscription sites did. They also knew about Clay Webb early, Bobo to USCjr, etc.
Too good of stuff to not share

Could barely vhear anything but you said "he wanted to leave early because he was unhappy the play calling"
Still not a shred of evidence to back up what you're saying.
Your implying he was ready to jump ship regardless of the circumstances. His name wasn't associated with ANY other job and he ultimately left for his "dream job" without much of bump in salary. He got the opportunity to be a SEC HC and took it.An opportunity few posistion coaches get.

Ok. Not looking for your approval. I have sources that know their sh*t

So now you’re saying you’re hearing Fromm likely leaving, Coley likely demoted, Luke likely replacement as play caller? Sure would be an interesting bunch of events and I’d love to get a bonafide QB here to compete. Well I want that regardless.
As for the Pittman/Coley beef, I’d have to think Kirby would side with Pittboss but who knows. I don’t blame anyone for getting pissed during the USC game with the insane idea of passing that much. I just would like to think they’d handle this better than a fearing issue but perhaps it was the plan and along to deal with the situation in the offseason and then Arkansas had to come calling. I just can’t imagine a world where Pittman was leaving regardless.
That’s just me, I have no sources.

Personally, I think Kirby needs to let go of his insistence to control everything. I was hoping we would inject some new blood (Briles, Jay Johnson, etc), but I don’t think that is going to happen unless Coley leaves for greener pastures which seems unlikely.
Pittman/Coley beef was not personal but Kirby wasn’t going to part with either and Pittboss knew that.

Not earth shattering but more info.
Bobo could be coming back once he and Muschamp are fired at SC next year.
As for this year, if Coley stays, playcalling will be determined between Dell or Luke. If Coley leaves, there will be search for QB/OC coach who will call plays.

Good question.
I think his market value is gone after his playcalling this year.
I think it would have to be a HC position at lower tier school. I think we are stuck with Coley for 2020 just hope we get a more impressive play caller

CJ Stroud
Per 247:
Stroud has a solid frame and will have no problem packing on good weight and filling out when he gets to college. He has one of the strongest arms in the country, a smooth, tight release and shows the athleticism to make plays outside the pocket. He throws the deep ball with touch and accuracy, plays with poise and calmness in the pocket and is only scratching the surface of how good he can be. He’s a late bloomer, and his junior year was his first as a starting varsity quarterback. He’s a two-sport athlete and is a talented basketball player. Once he can focus on just football in college, his game should take off to another level. Projects as an impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future mid-to-high round NFL draft pick.
