Once again, it was Auburn's whining about playing both on the road the same year.

Once again, you show your ignorance. Auburn thought it was a disadvantage to play UGA/bama, our two biggest rivals, in the last three weeks of the season.........so we moved it just like Vince split up the UF/AU game decades ago.

It's in black and white, out of his own mouth, but you are too stupid to comprehend that.

Makes you wonder what Kirby's record would be if he had to play in the West. We know he has lost to AU, UA and LSU. Has he played MSU,OM,A&M or Ark. Imagine having to play those teams on consecutive weeks. Kirby counts his blessings every day.

Mcgarity's spent too much time in Gainesville. He's a turncoat effecting subterfuge.

What a gauntlet that would be. Those 4 are downright scary.

Smart move, especially for Auburn. Any given year, Auburn would have to finish with Georgia, Bama, an SEC title game, and 2 playoff games to win the big prize. There good reason why only 1 or 2 SEC teams have beaten 3 ranked SEC opponents in-a-row since 1998. It's a tough chore for anyone, no matter what team you think you have. You'll have tired players while your coaches face decent coaching staffs, and then those opponents working off each other game-film for 3 consecutive weeks can tear any team apart.

I wish Bama could move the LSU game a little earlier in season. That game always takes a bunch of out both teams down the stretch, period! Bama finishing with LSU, Miss St, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Clemson surly had to make the final stretch a tough chore. This is a reality many SEC teams could face any year....

More than not, programs from other conferences aren't finishing with that slate of tough games. The whole SEC would be smart, especially legit title contenders, to shift ending schedules around if need be. If not, many SEC programs will be at a disadvantage come playoff time.

Back to dick riding the west. Pathetic

Aubies would lose the same amount of games in the East as they currently do every year in the west. Don’t flatter yourselves

Other than Georgia, care to share Auburn’s record v other east teams since the millennium?

I do not think so. Imagine being able to rest your starters for those Vandy, USC , UT and UK teams in years past. Just like UGA in 2017, play an overrated OOC team, rest for 4-5 weeks, play an average UF team, get your arse whipped by Auburn and then play with fresh legs in the SECCG. I think AU and LSU would have had multiple SECE Championships the last 10 years, even with some of their deficiencies. Again, Kirby understands(and appreciates) geography more then any other coach in the league.

Auburn has been playing UGA & Ala. in Nov. just about the entire series with both schools...yet NOW it's an unfair issue?

You seem to be taking this news pretty hard. Auburn wanted it, Mcgarity, Kirby, and Dooley were okay with it, but yet you’re frothing out of the mouth mad. It’s going to be okay cupcake.

I understand that. BUT Auburn has had that schedule for practically the entire IB & DSOR's histories. Saying it's an issue NOW is what's waving the red flag.

Read my next post. Aub. has had this schedule ~100 years. That's why there's more to this than y'all want to admit.

When all parties are fine with the change including tbe school with your hooked bandwagon, I think its pretty clear the real issue is you’re just acting like a bitch about it.

now there is a playoff system. The bama fan, several posts above yours, made a fantastic /tread post. You should try reading it.

Kirby is 4-5 against the West with 3 blowout losses. He absolutely has an easier time in the East.

I see where you're going, but this makes no sense because somebody might be avg. now, heat up for a bit, & then cool of. What do you do about scheduling @ that point if you've changed it when they're hot?

I read it. But it creates the debate of whose schedule do you alter & when. Also, what happens when they're no longer hot - you alter somebody else's schedule?
