Must have been inspired by that UNC hard fought against mighty VT
UNC is the hometown school putting together a solid recruiting class. They just received a commitment from a 5* DE last week. They also got Cam’Ron Kelly after he chose to leave Auburn. They have the highest upward trajectory of any school in the ACC not named Clemson. That’s why I said last page that I’m not sure that Jacolby Criswall would be a shoe-in if we were to offer.

UNC is a never will be in football. I respect Mack but his day has long since come and gone. If the kid wants to stay home nothing we can do about that but it still stings the amount of talent we've had decommit this cycle.

It sucks that we have lost quality linebackers for sure. Especially when our defense is ROLLING.
Simpson was praising our linebackers not even
a month ago. Bama can’t even say their defense is better.
I thought it was weird that Simpson attended the UNC-Clemson game as a fan, not as a recruit. Maybe he just has an affinity for UNC. Though, I think if Simpson could’ve held off the decommitment, he might’ve stuck it out. We have constantly been on the road against the quality teams making it hard to get the commits back to visit. Maybe if he visited later on he’d feel better about things.

Any info on if our staff feels we are still in it at all or is this basically a flip to UNC?

Kid wants to stay home lose. Admirable.

I think we will try to stay in his recruitment while giving Tisdol the go ahead if we are comfortable with his grades, but it’s probably a legit flip.
Don’t think we will have another NCM recruitment.
Just my opinion.
Edit) Wiltfong says his recruitment was UNC-Georgia before we rallied on his official. Sounds like his recruitment is stabilizing.

From Kneibuhr:
“Capers, a 6-feet-3.5, 195-pound senior, has 30 catches for 897 yards through the team's first seven games this season, an average of nearly 30 yards per reception.”
He plays 4A ball in Georgia.

Maybe Ross can DM Pawl and tell him to change the title to anything else.
Sure as crap don’t want to look at that now.
Can nothing be done about this? We look like fools over here.

I mean, Im not into recruiting or anything but someone could just start a new thread, transfer the info over and everyone could go from there.
Just a idea from a lurker

Don’t put that curse on me.
I cannot copy and paste pointless blurbs as good as Paw and you know that.

Ideally the recruiting thread would contain some amount of good news, though.

If neither of y’all will do it, I’ll do it tonight. It will in no way be as up to date as Paw’s was, but it’ll be semi current. I’ll poach his front page
I’m just tired of being reminded of our recruiting failure every time I open our board
