Hardly. Clemson had an NFL d-line. Literally. They have a generational talent at QB who was one of the highest rated recruits in the history of recruiting rankings. Justyn Ross is an absolute animal at WR as we all saw and a true 5*. Etienne is fantastic.

I think they are rated as 10th in recruiting average over the last 5 years. Auburn, LSU, A&M, Georgia all average higher than they do over that timespan. If any of these teams actually get their shite together, they could boat race Bama just as easily as Clemson.

Yep, and LSU was undefeated in 2011!
All that gets you these days is an SEC football championship.
At least LSU didn't lose as badly as Alabama in their last championship games.
