They lost just as many assistants last year and a QB transfers every other from Bama. It looks like business as usual.

A few years ago, Bama had 5 QB transfers and 5 assistant departures.

Don't forget a 28 point blowout loss to an ACC team.

Alabama has had three QBs transfer in one year. They’ll manage. Assistants leave in mass every year, unfortunately.

Have you been in a cave in Timbuktu the last year? Tua Tagovailoa was clearly the better qb and replaced Hurts, who has himself improved, so I hope he does well at OU, unless they play UA.

Saban going with a more experienced coaching staff vs so many great young recruiters, and I am glad he is.

May have happened before but there is no way this is sustainable. The real downfall has begun.

Last year people left for promotions. Half the people that left have accepted roles equal or less than they previous had. Saban knows this ant good for recruiting, I am sure he is fixing to hire people and make there contracts where they can not leave for atleast three seasons.

Gattis went from WR to OC (promotion)

Enos went from QB/Co-OC to OC and total control of the offense (promotion)

Locksley went from OC to HC (promotion)

Key went from OL to OL and Assistant HC at his alma mater with a new coach who is a friend

Tosh was amicably parted ways with and went to the NFL

What?

Locksley - OC to head coach
Key - OL to OL and associate head coach
Enos - QBs to OC
Gattis - co-OC to OC

Only Lupoi took a demotion in terms of position. But he is going to the next level.
