Let’s not overlook Tua’s bad play tonight...

Holding onto the ball too long looking for the deep ball. He forgot about check downs and tried to force balls into places he shouldn’t have.

I love the guy, but he didn’t look good tonight.

The whole team other than Josh Jacobs and Q were pretty much trash tonight.

That is an all year things. Hopefully he he got humbled and learns to hit the checkdown instead of hero ball.

He moved the ball well enough.

Locksley couldn’t get out of his own way.

Would Kiffin, as oc, have won this game?

I think so. We moved the ball well enough, but lockley went full retard inside the 20.

He had us at the 10 yard line 3 times. Tua made some mistakes but let’s not act like he wasn’t efficient.

I hope Enos sits him down and has a come to Jesus meeting with him and teaches him that every throw can’t be a 2nd and 26 highlight reel throw.

He would have scored more than 16 points on 500 yards.

And Najee - Najee had some great runs as did Harris.

I still just can't wrap my head around the commitment to the pass. QBs can have off nights, it happens, but when you're running it down their throats, why stick to the pass?? Why?? Why??

I thought Tua made 3 bad throws and missed a blitz. Problem is they were both really bad picks with big returns. If we weren’t down so much we could’ve kicked FGs to at least score but damn we were getting killed.

Dude made some really good passes tonight but the turnovers were brutal. And he flat out just missed multiple tds in the 2nd half. Of course the refs were garbage and missed obvious PIs. But he has a long way to go. think his stock is going to take a significant drop with how consistently meh he’s looked against good competition.

I just will never understand why we didn’t feed Najee and Jacobs all night. We had the D line tired and gassed early and stared passing again.
We did the same damn thing when we lost to them last time. We abandoned the run.

Coaches wanting to pad stats or something instead of winning. I get that running isn’t glamorous, but it wins.

I think the Pick 6 was just a great defensive call by Venables.Interesting enough Tebow said postgame tht Venables got him with the same play in the 08 NCG.

But Tua does predetermine a little too much and doesnt take the checkdown enough. I saw 2 or 3 plays where the RBs were wide open for a checkdown 1st down and he didnt get it to them.

You said it...We'd ask Jacobs to bail us out on 3 / 4th and short then on 1st run some bullshite play...The offense was bipolar all night, didn't know if it was coming or going.

No, he didn't look good but you'd be hard pressed
to find anyone on the team or coaching staff who looked
terrific. Our OL did Tua no favors either. Out played and
out coached, with no visible signs of adjustments
anywhere.
