Will it ultimately hurt their chances vs Bama or help them ?

They haven't played an elite team all season, but they also haven't been through the grinder like Bama has.

Thanks to the committee they played two quarters of air conditioned ball vs ND. Meanwhile Bama had to chase the midget around for four quarters in 80 degree heat and 80% humidity while getting several players dinged up vs a shockingly thuggish/dirty Oklahoma team.

Will it be a story of fresh legs and good team health for Clemson, or will it be a situation where they are trying to catch up to the speed of the game, and the overall physicality of playing an elite team for the first time all season ?

Clemson isnt beating Bama, Watson isn’t walking through that door.

Clemson will always be in the playoff though in the foreseeable future being loaded in the putrid ACC.

Have you looked at Bama's non-conference schedule?

Louisville, Arky St, ULL and Citadel. What a gauntlet.

In the dictionary, under Redundant it says " see Redundant".

Bama has played the hardest schedule in the country, and its not close. Read more, post less if you are out of your depth.

Not because Bama seeks out the toughest opponents to schedule.

If only the non conference schedule didn’t make up less than a third of their games played.

Clemson will be exposed against Bama. This Clemson team wouldn't beat LSU or UGA.

But it's also the only games they get to decide who their opponent will be.

The games you choose vs the games you don’t choose make no difference on strength of schedule.

Don't worry, Alabama will beat Clemson. It probably won't even be particularly close.

Louisville didn’t suck when the game was scheduled. Can’t knock Bama for Louisville’s problems.

Then why isn't UCF in the playoff? They've won 25 straight games.

Yes... let's start more threads about how Clemson isn't any good and how they never play anybody... Yes. Clemson is overrated.

At what point do you realize you're just stupid?

Explain how that proves anything? Imagine if Bama ran tougher OOC games to go with a tough conference schedule. LSU and Texas A&M make Bama's schedule tougher than Clemson's, oh and Bama had to play Georgia in their championship game, who did Clemson play again? That's just 3 teams, imagine if Clemson had to play Bama's schedule, now imagine Bama with Clemson's schedule....

Look at how embarrassed ND is today.. the only reason they got in is because all the ooc opponents they play. Do you want us to mirror that or something. When we play non power five opponents they get a huge paycheck (a way of giving back to the greater good of the sport) We open up with Duke next season. And i am happy with that.
