Football
2011-LSU: scores zero fricking points.... zero
2013-Auburn: had the lead the whole game until the last minute
2016-bama: took the lead with couple of minutes left but loss with 16 seconds left
2017-Georgia: had the lead all game until the end of the fourth quarter and loss in overtime on 2nd and 26

Baseball
2018-Arkansas: had the lead all game but three players couldn’t catch a pop foul ball for the championship.

By halftime I knew our game with Bama was over for whatever that’s worth

Losing a heartbreaker is worse than knowing you’ve lost by halftime.

That was the only good thing about losing to Nebraska. Can't have your heart broken when the game is over before halftime.

May as well put the 1983 Sugar Bowl and 2012 SECCG for UG too.

While losing in 2016 sucked, Alabama has won a pile of Championships recently, so it was hard to be TOO heartbroken. I mean we won the year before and the year after that and are in position to win again this year. If you make like 10 national championship games odds are you're eventually gonna lose one

For me?

1995 NCAA Basketball Final Arkansas vs. UCLA
2018 CWS Final Arkansas vs. Oregon State

Wanted so bad to go back to back in 95. Last year sucked, but in reality we were lucky to be leading at that point in game 2. We had been out hit and out played all of that game.

That Bama game sucked because not only we scored zero, but it was the start of the decline for our program, we haven’t beat Bama since 2011, and we were the first sec team to lose in the championship during the bcs.

Yeah, I'd say Alabama has done pretty, pretty good in national title games.

1966 Orange Bowl W
1972 Orange Bowl L
1979 Sugar Bowl W
1993 Sugar Bowl W
2010 BCSCG W
2012 BCSCG W
2013 BCSCG W
2016 CFPCG W
2017 CFPCG L
2018 CFPCG W

Probably Ohio State over Miami. Miami loses McGahee to a horrific injury and wins the game in overtime only to have a phantom pass interference call on 4th down extend the game.

That game pissed me off when the ref threw the flag on the miami db to keep Ohio state alive lol.

I was literally over the Clemson game the day after. It sucks, but when you see how good of a player Watson is and the team is going for its fifth title in 8 years, you get over it quick. At least I did, and that was the consensus on campus at the time.

Watson
He absolutely took a beating that game. Respect. I was over it pretty quick. Like the next day.

Wasn't this one for me. At this point all I can think is "can't win 'em all" when we lose anymore.

Baseball. Easily for me. That’s had to hurt so so badly.

Never seen that one.
That’s hilarious!

That said for me it’s the Bama won because it was an illegal pick play to an ACC team!!

Honorably mention was 2009.

That loss broke t.u. and Mack Brown.
