It won't be any different at Alabama. I get what he's saying but it's lacking of something.
Is he satisfied just being 12-0 this year, are his players. Hell No! They want it all. So why can't a fan not be satisfied with just 12-0?

All I know Saban is a fricking idiot.
He holds timeouts when up before halftime.
Plays folks whose legs are about to fall off.
and can't recruit or coach special teams.

Outside of the whole students not showing up thing, when exactly have our fans complained about "not winning games by enough" when we are winning titles and going 11-1/12-0?
I can't remember that ever happening.

Did you happen to read some of the comments on here when we were not up enough at HALFTIME in the last two games?

Let's take their situation and think about how we'd react.
Rival offense, who has been average all season, puts up 600 yards on us. We win comfortably, but it is the 2nd time our defense (supposedly great) has been absolutely torched. We'd be happy we beat our rival again, but a little concerned about the playoff. Especially considering we hadn't played an elite offense yet and had still had those 2 games against A&M and USCe. I don't think we'd be "grumbling" about winning the game, but definitely be a bit concerned.

Yeah, I can probably agree with that.
And I respect opinions that go against mine, but I have thought for some time that our fanbase is too spoiled, and many can't even allow themselves to fully enjoy the success, because they always find something to bitch about.
This year has been more mild because we have beaten the shite out of everyone. But even all of the over the top reactions to our defense earlier in the season, which was/is young and inexperienced and we should've expected some lumps, and the meltdowns at halftime in the Citadel, and Auburn games? Those were not very reasonable IMO.

I chalk a lot of that stuff up to emotion during the game. If people actually feel that way after the game, they need their head examined.

Because the fans don't put in all the work. Sure fans can mirror the sentiments of the coaches / players in that their goals are this and that during the year - but at the end of the season, when the team has poured their blood, sweat and tears into what resulted in a great season, regardless of how its finished - the fans should be more appreciative than anything - at least that is how I view it.
Sure its ok and expected to be disappointed if you come up short, but there is a fine line between being disappointed and being unappreciative of what the players and program have done and all the work they put in. (speaking mainly about some of the commentary you see from Bama fans in years we fall short of the natty or happen to drop a game).

It is only going to get worse for Dabo at CU. His got exposed last year without Watson to carry the team. This year that great defense gave up 930yds and 8 TDs to 2 QBs from middle of the road SEC teams. Now throw in Mac Brown coming back to UNC with the staff he is trying to hire. He will shut down that pipeline Dabo has had recently in NC.
